130321 is the day that GD held his press conference for his world tour. He had admitted himself that it's a dream to be on a world tour as a solo artiste, he feels the pressure, but he would do his best. His confidence wasn't at his highest, he isn't the arrogant successful young chap that everyone think he is. Maybe he was a few years back but he has never been disrespectful towards his eldest. He showed his insecurity when he said he wasn't sure if the media like the few songs he performed at the press conference. 

Dear Jiyong, 

This is a letter from a noona to you. 

You are doing a fantastic job. You might not have a spotless life, but which human doesn't err? To those who said that you are a bad example, I hope they can keep their lives pristine clean because every one err, everyone makes mistakes. We tend to forget that you are but 25. You are young, you got fame early, you are lost a lot of the times. But know that you are an inspiration.

Yesterday, when you are struggling as a trainee to find your place on the stage.

Today, when you are on that stage you have been chasing after since you were 12.

Tomorrow, when you continue to make music, continue to perform because of your passion for music.

In everyone's life, bad things happen. Temptations happen. Don't let self-righteous pricks (especially those from Korea) tell you that you are being a bad influence. You worked hard to be where you are today. You are not a genius. You worked hard to be the songwriter/producer/performer that you are. No one is more critical of you than you yourself. So, as long as you believe what you do is right for YOU, continue doing it. As long as it makes you happy, I'm happy. I'm not sure about the other VIPs or other people who might claim that they love you, very much, as long as your smile doesn't drop from your face, I'm happy. I believe I'm not the only one.

Now, if you will only listen to this noona just a bit more.

IF Chaerin is going to be featured in your concert, like she's going to do a segment with you, for you, whatever, please bring her with you to all the destinations you have said you would go thus far. I would love to see Chaerin on the same stage with you, for you. I just love both of you very much. Whether you are a couple or not might not bother me overly much, but I believe both of you gave each other encouragement a lot and I want you to have the people you love with you.

To Chaerin, I don't know if you are there to be part of the rehearsal because you are part of the concert or simply because you want to be there to support your Jingyo oppa (yes, Jingyo, not Jiyong), whatever it is, darling girl, I'm sure your presence made a difference. You might not know it, but you standing on this stage that he's about to embark on, the stage that thrills and scares him, even if it's just taking a photo, might have given him more strength than you know. Or maybe you already did. Which is why you are there. 

If you are featuring, please please please, and I say it again, please, go on the tour with him. Other than the fact that i would love to see you, I would like to know that Jiyong is embarking on a world tour with someone he trusts, someone he cares about a lot and will share every anxiety, every thrilling moment, every touching moment with him. Someone who would be there to comfort him, someone who would give him a hug when he needs it or a smile when he needs that.

If you are not, whenever he goes overseas for his solo concerts, I hope you will send him messages of reassurance to keep him calm, to put that smile on his face. And when he's back in Korea after every destination, you would be there to greet him with a smile, a hug and a pat on the back to tell him that he has done a great job. I hope he would share his joys with you and that will inspire you to walk confidently to your own solo stage, whatever it might be.

Jiyong ah, if Chaerin is there to give you support, I hope you realize that she's there because she want to be. Maybe out of all the people in the company, she's the one who wants to see you be successful more than ANYONE. 

Chaerin ah, don't ever stop giving your Jingyo oppa all the support and encouragement he needs!

To the 2 leaders I love dearly, whether you are a couple or not, all I ever want is for the two of you to be happy in whatever you choose to do. If you can find happiness with each other, I'd be even happier but only if you are happier. :)
