10 Reasons Why B1A4 has Potential

1. Jinyoung, their leader, has already composed three of their songs, including "Only Learned Bad Things"

2. Sandeul, their lead vocalist, won the 2010 Korea teenage singing contest meaning he has skill just like his predecessors

3. Baro, their rapper, wrote all of the raps in their songs and wholly admits that he still has a long way to go

4. Out of the ridiculous number of rookies who debuted within 7 months of each other, B1A4 has garnered quite a bit of that attention. Some have even stated that "everyone" likes B1A4 - not literally of course, but they have a smaller amount of anti's than some of the other groups.

5. They're relying on their singing abilities rather than other forms of publicity like physical appearance or controversy.

6. They are absolutely stunning at their live performances, looking like they're having the time of their life

7. Even though they realize how hard getting noticed out of the rookie mob is going ot be, they're just hoping to express their love for music and it's really shining through in my opinion.

8. They have presence.

9. Gongchan, the Maknae, is adorable but he also has the maturity to look out for the other members of B1A4 and supports them all. Although his voice hasn't reached it's true potential, he's making his way there and doing his best to catch up to the others

10. Their image is "Cute" but you can tell there's something beyond that. They have the makings of true idols and know how to have fun.

Publicity is in every rookie's life right now and sure, it turns everyone off because they're just plain sick of seeing "DEBUT" on every kpop news article. And I agree with that opinion to an extent. But is it really right to trash a potential like B1A4? I'm sure there are other groups as well who have a chance at getting far and they don't deserve to be treated like garbage either.

Just because they were pushed to debut early doens't mean they'll crash and burn. Things will definitely be more difficult for them, but at the same time, don't you wonder how much better they'll be if they can make it such a rough start? Imagine how great it will be for a handful of those rookie groups when they can say, two or three years from now, "We fought through the Rookie Wave and made it as Real Idols."

I think that would be a great moment. I just hope that B1A4 can say that someday because honestly, give them the credit they deserve. They aren't the best and their debut can't compare to the impact MBLAQ or B2ST made, but why should we compare them?

KPOP groups should be seen as individuals. Not a part of some crazy war.

These are all my opinions and I'm truly sorry if these thoughts cannot be sympathized with. No more war though. We have enough of that in all its colorful forms. So anyway, this is why I believe B1A4 has a shot at making it in the World of KPOP

I agree! Their stage presence is awesome. And their music style is different... can't explain how but I'm just drawn to it. :) I'm keeping my eyes on this group!
