sora is naturally a carefree person. she rarely ever grimaces and she's not fond of worrying, either. as a young adult, she's still transitioning to becoming an adult; and mind you, she's making very slow progress. sora is a child at heart, naive in soul, and innocent in mind. she's good-natured and humorous, kind-hearted and free. she's very outspoken and a very outgoing person; most people who first meet sora would comment on her eccentric character; if not that, then it would be on easy it is to befriend or making conversation with her. sora is the type of girl to say, "you only live once." she's a very upbeat and optimistic, especially when it comes to performing or working with music. 

aside from being a six-year-old at heart, sora is also acknowledged for he headstrong personality. she'll often heads with those who contradict against her morals and virtues; and like the child she is, she's very strong-willed and stubborn. these feats are only accentuated and more dangerous due to her being an overgrown baby. sora isn't necessarily argumentative, but she will stick up for what she believes in, and if needed, she will necessitate her voice. she's not very open-minded when it comes to other's arguments either -- that feat is reserved for exploring music genres and theory skills. 

it's all good and fun with sora. but not many feel the same way. her upbeat and bubbly behavior is one thing. her insensitivity and obliviousness is another. due to her wild, young, and free demeanor, sora has picked up some bad habits. she tends to speak without thinking; she acts rashly; and she's quite the walking hazard. it's because of these uncanny pointers that make people want to turn away from sora if they didn't know any better than she really means no harm. she doesn't process her words thoroughly, and she doesn't take the time to consider the effect of other's feelings because of her reckless actions and words. sora may be a child, but sometimes, she just might need to grow up.

Biography ⋮

born in daegu, south korea to a bank teller and a professor, han sora was brought into a world of banal regulations and uptight curfews. there was not an ounce of musical inclination within her parents, but sora still indulged herself in the arts. how and why? her grandparents were great patons of the arts, as a matter of fact, and for her parents were always so caught up with work, her grandparents were inevitably appointed as sora's babysitters. she was heavily influnced into appreciating music, whether it be rock, folk, rap, reggae, or r&b; it wasn't just music, either. her grandparents were very adamant and assiduous in inspiring sora to become a fanatic for not just music, but artworks: rembrandt, vermeer, you name the artist, and sora will name their title masterpiece.

she was raised be to be a fine lady, despite her lack of enthusiasm towards the more conservative side. she constantly digressed from schoolwork, and often neglected any other extracurricular activities -- and it was all for singing alone. having been trained and taught by her freelancing grandmother, sora grew up appreciating the musical and applied arts. her grades in any core academic classes were prosaic, nothing spectacular; but it was always her performance in art or choir that made her gpa skyrocket. sora was raised to be a musician; as her grandparents would say, sometimes to her parent's dismay, "sora was born a liberal soul."

not surprisingly, sora's personality is not much different onstage as it is offstage. she's just as upbeat, energetic, and fun-loving onstage as she is anywhere else. the only thing that differs though is her focus. unlike her everyday character, she's more focused on achieving here, and this is where her competitive, virtuous side makes its appearance. she's recognized as fierce, or sharp; most fans would tease and say that it's as if there's fire in her eyes when she's performing. nevertheless, sora is still the same passionate, radiant soul she is offstage.

Trainee history ⋮

getting into sm entertainment, according to sora, was probably a harder task than keeping up with her everyday trainee life. she auditioned countless times, and not just for sm entertainment. whether it was jyp, starship, cube, or even yg, nobody accepted her. at age 14, she was about to get discouraged. she had come to terms that she was young, that she was naive, and maybe that was why no company wanted to accept her -- because she was a child, and not yet mature enough to embark on a journey in entertainment. she had practically trained all her life, despite it being under mediocre supervision. she was about to give up; but before she did, she promised she would audition one last time for sm, marking it as her fourth try for this particular company. and she swore she wouldn't make it, since the proctors were just as emotionless as all the other times during her audition process. but then: she received a letter two weeks later. and, "congatulations, you are now a part of sm entertainment."

sora's trainee life was as common as any other's trainees down the line. life was rigorous and her diligence wasn't enough to prove herself. she forcibly pushed herself a good three and a half years before finally receiving news she would be put into a girl group to debut. throughough her career as a trainee, sora has only had two opportunities to appear in cf's. in her first, she was just an extra for a baskin robbins commercial. she was a supporting role in the second cf for a ramen brand. aside from those two experiences, sora has no other insight on how idol work goes.

△ lee seul mi (t-ae) ⋮ rania ⋮ comedic, affable, bright, witty ⋮ over five thousand ⋮ they knew each other before they were both accepted into the entertainment realm. younger by three years, sora grew up with seul mi back in their hometown, daegu. they were neighbors; parents were best friends; and they were students attending the same joint-schools. despite the rather large , they grew up as childhood friends, with seul mi looking out for sora and sora doing just the same.

Personality ⋮ 

tao isn't the big, badass wushu master sm portrays him to be. he's a child full of curiousity and naivete; his mind contnuously embarks on jouneys of wonder and ponderous thought. he's very child-like, often found pouting at toys and food, and calling his grandmother's cooking the best food regardless of the jeering he receives in turn. he doesn't even bother to hide it; tao is a naturally humorous male that loves to be playful. he's very cheerful and very jubilant. with his outgoing personality, anyone would love to hang out with him.

tao, in turn, is also very sensitive. thanks to his adopted childish behaviour, the sensitivity had come along with it. he's a man that tears easily, yet will still remain man enough to not hide it -- because real men cry. aside from that, he's also very caring, very tender -- whether it be towards fans, friends, or family; he is a selfless person, often acting on his own accord to assist any of those need his help. his kind heart and determination is enough to motivate a whole village. there is nothing too horrid about tao that can make anyone hate him aside from his accomplishments and good nature.

tao is very likeable (aside from his aegyo of course because that kills). and aside from his whining because again, you can't really forget that this 19 year old really is six at heart.

How you met ⋮ 

tao was often bullied by the other korean trainees for being chinese; it didn't help that he only had to train for six months before debuting. the veteran trainees reacted violently - and immediately - upon hearing the news that tao was to debut with tao. the torment continued, and the tumult accumulated into a heavier burden over time. and once again, upon hearing the news that tao was to even come back with the new girl group emerging, tao became the prioritized target amongst the seniors. the attack upon the chinese idol this time, however, was revolutionary. 

despite the fact that tao has wushu training and various experience in martial arts, he's not a fighter. that component to his soft-hearted personality alone was what earned the chinese male the bruised ego and black eye he received from one of the veteran bullies. he simpered off into a lone practice room that was left abandoned, due to the innovations made to the company building. and as if cued by fate, it was also the same practice room jinri and sora used to practice together whenever they had leisure time.

sora was the first to arrive into the compact room, as sulli was at the vending machines buying water. she spotted tao immediately (but who wouldn't spot a male hunched over himself in the middle of the room?). "hey.. you're that exo member, aren't you? tao.. right?" and thus began the most beautiful relationship in the history of cliches and shoujo mangas.

they are very open with one another and aren't ashamed of their close relationship. they're not dating, but most would assume they are. tao is a very touchy person who enjoys skinship to begin with, and with sora's carefree attitude, their personalities just mesh and they become some dynamic duo everybody is envious of. tao and sora often have heart-to-heart talks in the rare moments that they are serious; they can tell each other anything, and it's a relief to actually spend time with one another because it's as if they're each other's own source of sanity.

tao has his own bouts of quirkiness, and so does sora. together, they're like a bundle of clay molded together to become one extremely compatible duo. (so they're pretty much best friends)
