My Journey along with my beloved Super Junior.
My Journey along with my beloved Super Junior.
My KPOP fantasy first started back when I still cannot appreciate music. Not until I accidentally watch Super Junior T in "Idol World". That was the first time that I fell in love with a boy band.
I have been an ELF (Ever Lasting Friend) for almost 4 years. I liked them not because of their good-looking faces, though that is one of my hundreds of reasons :D , but because they brought me into the world of beats and rhythms. That time i'm crazy enough to save money in school to go to computer shop after class to watch their music videos and performances. I was pretty aware of what am I doing that no one can say that they are bad influence for me. In fact, they made my life better. I came to appreciate music that gave color to my blackscale life; I got rid of the crazy effects of tween lovelife, because of the thought that only my bias is the perfect guy for me. And most of all, I got the confidence of showing my low level talent. I was contented enough of my way of fangirling when I found out during my senior year in high school (my third year of being an ELF) that I am not the only one who loves KPOP in my class.
Almost half of my class likes various KPOP groups and majority of that is SUPER JUNIOR. We really had fun fangirling. We even organized a small birthday party celebration for our biases.
Moreover, high school fun doesn't lasts forever. We had our graduation and went to different places. I stick to the same university. Well, unfortunately, no one in my new class likes KPOP.
Luckily, after 4 months I got scholarship to study in Vietnam. I'm expecting that I will just study there the whole time. I never thought that I will find so many KPOP stuffs there especially SUJU's. However, I became less updated to them than I was before. I don't have own computer here so i'm struggling to get some news about them.
During my 5 months here in Vietnam, I met so many ELFs including my fellow Filipino student. She introduced me to an Indonesian exchange student who's also crazy with this amazing boy band. It is extremely overwhelming to new Ever Lasting Friends abroad.
