South Korean Pop Singer 'Leeteuk' of Super Junior Fame, Dead at 29

Seoul, South Korea (REUTERS) -- Entertainer Park Jeong-su, mononymously credited as "Leeteuk" of South Korean "supergroup", Super Junior has passed away at age of 29. The entlisted singer was reportedly shot and killed early Monday morning at what seemed to be friendly fire from an unnamed soldier practicing beside him.

Fans have taken to Twitter to post their shocked reactions for the deceased singer.

South Korea mandates all males over the age of 18 and under 30 to complete military duties as service for their country. Park's agency, SM Entertainment could not be reached for comment.
