group background: Kailyn, also known as Ki Young by those who can't pronounce her American name, is a part of L.O./\.E Y.O.U or simply L.O./\.E, the sister group of NU'EST as their maknae and rapper. And yes, their group name is the same as NU'EST's fanclub. It was NU'EST's fans who named their group. They're very supportive and had decided that they would be fans of both groups. After her teaser was released it created a bit of a divide with people who supported her and people who didn't for numerous reasons. One reason centered around the fact that she was black. Some people found that an issue despite the open-ness of most fans. When they finally debut she received hate mail for numerous days until she considered leaving the group. However it proved that their fans were numerous and with one hate mail came hundreds filled with love. With the help of her group members as well as the members of NU'EST she managed to survive the anti-L.O./\.Es and their dislike of her.

Kailyn and her group sing about the issues that young adult women face in a school setting such as their senior year of highschool and freshman year of college. They focus solely on any issue that women face and they are known for asking their fans to send in ideas or whatever is troubling them.

personality: When put in front of the camera Kailyn is incredibly shy and will often hide her face behind the backs of her group members. It's what makes her so appealing to the masses and it's this trait that labeled her as Korea's Foreign Sweetheart. She's soft-spoken with reporters and this invites them to lean closer, making her blush and further enticing netizens with these rare moments to peer so close at an idol. To be honest she knows how to work the cameras to her advantage. It's something that has made her a highly-sought-after actress. However, when the cameras are turned off or she feels comfortable in her surroundings, one will be surprised to find out that Miss Quiet and Delicate also has the mentality of a five-year-old.
