Poem: The Chained Children
The Chained Children
And there are again chained children, more and more
Screaming eyes, oh ever so intently, so harshly!
Accusingly they blame me for what I have done
My heart was never cold enough for any of this
Unchain us! - They scream, scream, suffer! Suffer!
Eyes bleed tears, wounds cries waterfalls of pain
But I throw the only key out of sight, out of heart
Close my eyes of the chained childs I have locked
And there are again chained children, more and more
But I deliberately lost the key to their freedom
Because it is reflections I see of the me I was ever
But chained children are better off locked forever
A very deep poem I wrote that means a lot to me
Because I've chained the children in me again and again
