If i were you i wouldn't confess, i'd rather drop some hints that i like him and wait for him to make the first move.
But seeing that you like him and probably you can't wait anymore and you're sacred to lose him i don't blame you at all,
In fact i admire your courage!
But don't be so expectant, at leaset consider that he might refuse(i hope he won't) just for your sake and so you won't be disappointed and hurt. Please don't misunderstand i'm not trying to bring you down or anything i just want you to be prepared and i don't want you to be hurt.
