Okay so this is a preview of the upcoming fanfic I'm currently working on.

Take in mind that they are random sentences from a random chapter.

After walking a couple of blocks in the cold winter temperatures, he finally found a café where he could enter to.

Pushing the door open, Kai went inside the café, letting out a nice sigh of relief because of the warm atmosphere the place gave him.

He was greeted by the waiters as he made his way towards an empty seat, asking for a cup of coffee to one of them who was passing by.

After settling down in a table at the corners of the café, he removed his scarf and jacket, leaving his upper body wrapped in a sweater.

He crossed his arms and rested them on the table, admiring the city through the large windows. It was pretty deserted, considering it was very late at night. The street lights created a beautiful scene in front of his eyes, bringing a certain peace inside of him, but still feeling bitter nevertheless. 

Suddenly, the sound of the door bells were heard as a person came in. Kai directed his stare towards the door, finding a shuddering girl entering the café as she mumbled incoherent things because of the cold weather. He let out a deep breath and shook his head because of her clumsy actions.  He didn’t look at her for much time though, since he directed his attention to the window once again.

The voice of the girl could be heard among the place. She shyly greeted the waiters and plopped herself on a table, right in front of his. 

…Soon after the waiter appeared with her coffee, placing it on her table. She weakly smiled and thanked him.

…

“Ah! Hot…” She mumbled while touching her wounded tongue because of the sip of the hot coffee she carelessly took.

“Excuse me, c-could you bring me a glass of water please?” The girl asked to one of the waiters passing by as she tried to push back the tears, the burn in her tongue was pretty bad. Her voice was as quiet as a whisper, it sounded weak and muffled and it seemed as if it could get lost in the air… and eventually become inaudible for the people in the place.

Kai noticed the girl was having a bad time with the whole situation and he suddenly felt pity for her. The look in her eyes seemed so sad; it obviously wasn’t because of the coffee that she was so depressed. Yet she was so polite with everyone despite the hardships she might have being enduring. And for a strange reason that he couldn’t understand… his heart ached because of her. It was as if he wanted to see her smile so badly, so he could end with the bitterness in his heart.
