Super Junior M at my school

Everyone (well, mainly E.L.Fs) knows about SJ-M's fanmeeting thing in Taiwan a few days ago, right? :) And those who read one of my previous blog posts would know, too xD

So yesterday (22nd Feb), I finished class at 4:20 and had to meet up with my friends at 5:40. Just over an hour -- that awkward amount of time where it's not enough to do something really productive, yet too much to just wander the school or go there and wait. And so what did I do? Das rite. I went over to our school sports stadium where the event would be held and... kinda "experienced" the outside activities of it xD

Okay, so honestly, my feels for SuJu are not as strong as they used to be. Don't get me wrong, I still love and adore them to bits a;sdkjfha;sd, it's just that I wouldn't dedicate an entire morning standing in front of 7-11 to beat the rush for limited tickets xD Therefore, I had no ticket and could not attend. I haven't heard the whole of their Break Down album, either, so I don't know any of the songs, apart from Break Down >.<

So while I was walking towards the sports stadium, I could already hear their music blasting out from some fans' speakers (I thought they were already doing the fan meeting inside at first). I didn't recognise the song, but I could recognise Ryeowook's voice anywhere, so I knew it was them ^^ When I arrived... heck, I have never seen so many people gathered at my school, all in one place xD Honestly, it wasn't as much as I expected for a K-pop event, especially for SuJu, since Taiwan hosts an insanely large amount of E.L.Fs (no seriously, over half the K-pop fans in Taiwan are most likely E.L.Fs). But it was one heck of a large amount of people. Everyone was either wearing or holding something sapphire blue, with banners or signs, and many were holding albums, too.

At that moment, I felt so... "at home"? I don't know how to describe it. The only time I experienced such large numbers of fellow fans was with Shawols back at SHINee World II Concert last year. I had never been with so many fellow E.L.Fs before, and it was my first ever K-pop fandom, so it felt extra special to me. However, the E.L.Fs didn't really make a good impression on me :S Most of them were rather... unfriendly, in a sense? Everyone seemed extremely possessive of their idols, and you felt this strong sense of possessiveness for biases and OTPs (namely EunHae and KyuMin). Someone had a huuuuge Yesung flag/banner thing lying on the ground (Wth? He isn't even in SJ-M O.O), held in place with stones in the corners. One person (thank goodness it wasn't me) almost stepped on it -- I mean, come on, it was taking up a LOT of room -- and the official fanclub people who brought it literally screamed, "Don't step on Kim JongWoon! >:O" Literally... I was like woah... xD These E.L.Fs love their idols, alright.

It was only a fan meeting, not a full scale concert, so there weren't that many people selling products or albums. I don't know if this happens in every country, but from my experience yesterday and at SWCII, some official fanclub people print out a lot of laminated cards with the idols' photos. Then they announce, "We're handing out cards here!" and you get this HUGE stampede of fangirls who literally race and sprint to form a line in order to get a free card xD I never join in the frenzy, since... well, they're cards? xD You can just print out as many as you want yourself, and choose which photo and everything xD But yeah, I was standing RIGHT in front of the person when she announced it. Luckily I had fast reflexes, because I literally whipped around after she announced the card giveaway and witnessed, first-hand, the absolutely undeniable power of countless girls screaming and storming towards you at breakneck speed. I literally rannnn towards the side before I was squashed :S

And because of the various lines formed here and there for various things (cards, albums, products etc.), I had to weave my way through and inevitably cut through many of these lines. BUT HOMYGAWD, PEOPLE, CALM DOWN, I'M NOT TRYING TO PUSH IN. Every time I came to a slight gap, I would put my hand there timidly and say, very politely, "Sorry, excuse me," but the glares I got each time... they sent shivers down my spine xD That tension where they stare at you suspiciously and think, for a split second, that you tried to cut in front of them, before you prove them paranoid by walking off away from the line is just... yeah xD

Most fans stayed outside the building while waiting, because they're technically not allowed in. But I was like HAW HAW HAW BISHES, I GO TO THIS UNIVERSITY 8D *openly marches through the doors*. So I went around inside the stadium to see if I could see the place they were going to be using, since there were so many different, separate centres/halls/rooms in that huge building. Sadly, I couldn't find it, and almost got lost and somehow saw the guy who likes me practising for some dance (had to run when I recognised him; don't think he saw me). There were a few small groups of E.L.Fs scattered around. Some were just sitting, while some were scurrying about the place. I bet they were trying to see if they could see/find SJ-M xD I mean, I was, too, in a way :P

But no, my life is not a fanfic. OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE TOTES BUMPED INTO SUNGMIN, ALMOST FELL BACKWARDS, HAD HIM CATCH ME, STARED INTO EACH OTHER'S EYES, EXPERIENCED LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT, GOT A FREE EXTRA TICKET THAT JUST MIRACULOUSLY EXISTED, GOT A BACKSTAGE PASS ALSO, PARTICIPATED IN THE EVENT, MET SUJU-M, HAD ALL OF THEM FALL IN LOVE WITH ME ETC ETC ETC. Nyahaha U_U

All the guys who were using the sports stadium for actual sports came out all like, "Why are there so many people here? O___O" xD I heard a convo between two people, too. One was like, "What is with all the people? :O" and the second replied, "I don't know. Probably more Korean people have come." LOLLLLLL xD And then at dinner, my friends (we're not THAT close, so they don't know me that well or anything), asked me why I didn't go, since they knew that I liked K-pop. I then spent some time explaining the difference between Super Junior and Super Junior M to them. Didn't even bother delving into Zhou Mi + Henry details; too advanced for them U_U

But yeah, that's pretty much it xD Nothing really important or interesting, but I just felt like sharing the experience xD So even though I haven't met Super Junior M, so to speak, I can say that I have been inside the same building as them ;)

I really wanted to take a photo of the people outside the buildling, but I literally took out my phone and saw that it had died. YOU STOOPID PIECE OF A;SKJFHA;SD URGHHH D:<

Yeah... that's all 8D

Have to sleep over at my grandparents' again tomorrow night, so shall most likely be replying to stuff when I get back on Monday U_U

Gonna go to sleep nao, noights, y'all 8D *salutes*
