Question for writers

When you have a new story you want to write when do you put it up?

Not the first chapter but the description, foreword etc?

Cos I have two ideas I am going to write at some stage but don't have the time to yet.

Would it be silly to just post them now?

Why do I have to ask such a question?

/Goes back to editing 7 hours from home, next door to heart. I hope Infinite are alright (I have little to no idea what is even happening)

I for one have to take a little time and sit on the idea before posting it up. It's all about figuring which one to post first (and trust me, there are a lot of idea in my writer book^^') But I guess it's all about how you feel about them and if you think you'll be able to give them both your full attention^^
Anyway, HWAITING! ^~^

It depends if you have the plot solid on your mind. I don't post stories until I finish one that's ongoing. I just write the plot down and solidify the plot so when I finish one of my ongoing fics, I already have a new one. If you really want to write that story, evernote is pretty useful. Write your chapters there. Don't post it yet. When you want to post the story, you won't be bothered by writer's block because you've already written a lot.

I don't freaking know if I made my message clear right now, though. >.<"

I'd post it first. In case someone has the same idea. I have like 2 stories with only 1 chapie for each story, one of them has the same idea with the one that has got featured but I started it first :) :)

Also, if you post it, you'll have that feeling to write because you don't want your readers to experience a long wait.

It's my opinion, if you don't want to, it's okay. :) and yeah, iff you feel like the idea is 'poor' or smth after a week or so, simply just delete it :)

It depends. For me, I don't post it as soon as the idea pops in my head. I think about it for over a week, at least. I don't want to put up a story that I haven't thoroughly planned. Like, I would plan first how the story would end, what would the character's personality would be like, etc. Because if I start a story, I want to finish it. I don't want to simply abandon it just because I ran out of ideas for it. But yeah, it depends on you :)
