✣ The Rowdy One ✣ Sung Gi or Xiulin as she likes to be called is the type people would describe to be a person people have a hard time disliking. She’s a positive and friendly girl who goes out of her way to introduce herself to strangers. She’s the type to cheer people up no matter what and the type to have this sort of happy-go-lucky personality. She always wears a smile on her face but her facial expressions never lie as her feelings are always written clear as day on her face. She’s very enthusiastic about everything she does no matter how insignificant it may seem to people. She does have a sort of childish streak to her with an out pouring innocence about her. She doesn’t let anything really get her down and is always thinking on the positive side but she does have a careless tendency to think that everything will just work out somehow. She’s bubbly and the type people have to literally tape shut to keep her quiet, it's actually advised the people don't use their hand to cover shut or else she'll just the person's hand, no matter how unsanitary that may sound. She tends to talk non-stop to the point people close to her have develop a habit of tuning her out so she sort of resorts to just mumbling or talking to herself. She’s a simple person to understand and comprehend because she is always very straightforward with how she thinks and feels. She’s simple minded and innocent so she’s rather easy to trick it doesn’t help that she easily trusts people. This is the reason why people close to her have a tendency of being very protective when it comes to her. She not one who is emotionally attuned so when things like love and hate come knocking at her door she wouldn’t know how to differentiate the two because people say there is a fine line separating the two. When talk about feelings come up Xiulin is generally clueless and flabbergasted to the point that she wouldn’t know what to say and start to spew a whole bunch of nonsensical nonsense. Generally when speaking with Xiulin she prefers it if people are blunt and to the point with her because that’s how she’s been raised so she’s quite used to it if people talk to her in a critical way. She’s not one to take offense to criticism she actually welcomes it because she knows with it she can improve herself more. Outside her happy-go-lucky attitude she’s actually very hardworking, dedicated, and passionate and goal oriented.

✣ Troublemaker In The Making ✣ She has a trait to go into things headfirst due to her rather straightforward nature. She’s someone who is a bit careless when it comes to what she says that she often hurts people’s feelings without actually meaning to. She’s not one to think things through because she lives her life with the motto of “do the things you want now while you still can.” With that running in her head she does as she feels and thinks so she seems pretty uninhibited with her actions. Some of the things she does are pulling pranks on people, being a nosy Nancy and climbing high places without a harness. Her pranks are usually harmless but sometimes they cross the line so she gets into trouble. She’s quick witted equipped with a smart mouth enabling her to have an answer to everything to the point of her being very cheeky. ✣ The Stronghold ✣ Xiulin absolutely hates silence because to her it’s like reliving the days were her parents would put her into a solitary room when she’s disappointed them. She dislikes awkward silences and she’s usually the one to break them. When she’s surrounded by silence she has these mini panic attacks that only calm down when noise is introduce to her ears once again. She has a phobia of it so she always makes sure the she has her ipod with her at all times so whenever there is a need for silence she just plugs her ears with her earphones putting her ipod on a low volume so only she can hear it playing. Nobody actually knows about this phobia of her because she’s never actually talked about it with anyone and the only person who knows about it is Luhan because he’s been by her side ever since she was a child. She also hates being alone at home or at the dorm because she feels like she’s been abandoned. Xiulin actually has a weak constitution that she needs to be with at least one person or be immersed in a crowd so she doesn’t feel alone. If she was told to stay in the dorm by herself she’d probably break that rule and wander outside so she doesn’t feel suffocated being alone in the dorm or house.

✣ Summary ✣ All in all Xiulin is a happy-go-lucky girl who is positive, simple minded and hardworking who has a penchant for getting into trouble.  She's quick witted equipped with a smart mouth having answers to everything she's asked.  She can be pretty cheeky but people adore her like an annoying little sister.  Now if there is one thing that she's terribly afraid of its silence due to her childhood memories.

Luhan | EXO | 22 | Kind, compassionate, gentle, easygoing and a good listener | They met through family because their families are close friends as well.  She was playing by herself in her room because her parents didn't want her running around the house to embarrass them in front of Luhan's parents.  Luhan was looking for the bathroom when he heard soft whispers and sobs coming from her room.  He was a curious kid so he followed the sounds and found Xiulin solitarily playing with herself while keeping her sobs at bay. | They act like siblings and are very protective over each other.  They are very close to the point that kissing each other's cheek, hugging and sitting on each other's lap is done so casually with them.  Some people even mistake them for being a couple that they laugh at.

family background: 

✣ Xiulin grew up in a very traditional Chinese home, where males are practically treated as if they were royalty.  She was the first born child and the fact that she was female did not sit well with the rest of the family.  She was often mistreated, looked down upon and practically raised like a boy.  She was always expected to excel in all the duties and studies her family gave her, if she were bested by another her family would chastise and criticize her for not being good enough.  In turn Xiulin always tried to put her best effort into everything her parents had expected her to excel in.  She never said no to their wilful ways no matter how tired or suffocated she felt; she just wanted her parents to be proud of her.  But nothing changed no matter how much she excelled in her studies, her family always found something about her to nitpick and criticize.  Things got worse when her younger brother was born when she was 7 years old. All the attention was given to her brother and all the praise went to her brother, but she never hated him for it.  She loves her brother very much and vice versa, her brother looked up to her as a role model and saw her as a figure to admire.

✣ Things weren't all bad during her home life.  She was actually closer to the hired help around the house than her own family.  They were often the ones who cared for her whenever her parents were gone from home.  Her parents always took long business trips that took around 3-4 months to complete and they were home only for 2-3 weeks at a time.  During the times they are home they would take every chance they could to criticize Xiulin for even the smallest of mistakes.  Her parents expected perfection from her and if Xiulin couldn't cater to her parents' expectations she was often ignored and left alone until she could meet the expectations given to her.  Her parents would often isolate her in her room as punishment and no one was to approach her at any time other than meal times.  Her parents would leave her in a sort of solitary confinement to better herself for them.  This is what shaped her fear of silence.  But during the times her parents aren't home Xiulin had freedom, that she always cherished.

✣ During these times of freedom Xiulin would often be seen around the house socializing with what she could say her true family which are the hired help.  She never let her studies slip and she always had a good sense of balance when it came to relaxing and having a good time.  She often went hiking just to see the beautiful sceneries the world had to offer but she always did her hiking within the country and for only short periods of time so her parents won't find out.  She had one solid friend she could confide in ever since she could remember.  This person is her best friend and childhood friend, Luhan.  He was often her life line whenever she felt defeated or felt like she would breakdown.  He was the one that always pushed her forward and listened to her, he treated her like his own sibling as he has none.

How you got into jellyfish:

✣ Transferred from SM Entertainment.  She got transferred from SM Ent because the company thought it best to separate the two friends so rumours don't spread that may harm EXO's image.  Luhan was opposed to the idea but he couldn't really do anything about it since he was doing activities in China and she was in Korea.  Xiulin had no qualms with it because she didn't want to put Luhan and the other EXO members in a compromising situation since they worked so hard to stand on the stage and debut.

trainee history:

✣ Xiulin's life in Jellyfish Ent was something she would never trade for anything in the world.  She was scared at first because she was going somewhere unfamiliar with unfamiliar people but she soon got over it.  She often got into trouble with the CEO because of little things like pulling pranks on staff members.  She actually saw more of the CEO's office than the practice room but that isn't to say that she slacked off during training.  She made quite a few acquaintances in the company with other trainees but she wouldn't go as far as label them as friends.  She got along well with others but she never really fit in with other people and their group of friends.  To say the least she was always surrounded by a diverse group of people but at the end of the day she was alone.  She excelled in both vocal and rap training her only problem was her two left feet, she could barely dance when she first entered the company, she did improve her abilities in SM but she had a lot of growth in Jellyfish.  She often put extra hours in to perfect the choreography but she always tried to keep those extra hours of practice a secret.

✣ He is rather quiet but he oozes with cuteness.  He's easy to get along with but he tends to be shy around newer people he meets.  He does have a silly side to him that only shows itself when he's around people he's very close with.  He's not one to really voice out his complaints but he does have a sarcastic streak to him.

how you met/meet: 

✣ She was running away from a staff member who told her that the CEO wanted to see her, thinking that she was going to get scolded again she ran away from the staff member.  As she was running she hid in the first room she could find which was the men's restroom.  Hyuk was just about to walk out of the bathroom when she came running in covering his mouth with her hand and dragging him into one of the bathroom stalls just in case.  She stood on the toilet so it wouldn't look suspicious that there were two pairs of legs in one stall.  She was tightly hugging him from behind to the point that he could feel the rise and dip of her chest wherever she took a breath.  After a good full two minutes in that position she finally released him and open the stall door.  He looked at her dumbfounded still recovering from the shock of Xiulin suddenly showing up in front of him and practically holding him hostage.  Xiulin let a sigh of relief leave her lips which shook Hyuk out of his reverie/shock.

✣ Hyuk was about to ask her who she was and what the heck she was doing because no matter what sort of scenarios played out in his head he just didn't understand.  Xiulin finally turned towards him about to explain her situation when the bathroom door opened and in walked a couple of guys who walked to the urinals to use because they hadn't noticed Xiulin until she let out a high pitched squeal and ran out of the bathroom.  The other boys just watched the door in shock before acknowledging Hyuk's presence but he didn't stay for long because the boys were giving him odd glances and he really did not want to explain what was happening because he himself didn't know.  As he walked out of the bathroom he saw Xiulin being dragged off by a staff member while trying to reason that she hadn't done anything recently that would warrant for her to be in trouble.  The staff member stopped in their track only to smile at her telling her that she wasn't in trouble which confused Xiulin.  Hyuk on the other hand stayed only for a little while trying to catch the girl's name and when he did he left as soon as he could with the thought of asking around about her.

how you interact:

✣ The way they interact is amusing to the people who are watching them.  They have a sort of cat and dog fight, where they are often seen arguing with each other over the smallest of things.  He nitpicks at her for being childish while she nitpicks about him being a weirdo.  She always manages to bring out new sides of him the he and other people that know him didn't know about.  She brought the childish, competitive, jealous and protective sides of him.  If possible these two would have ripped each other to shreds by now because of how much they argue and call each other names.  For example, she would call him a Smurf because of his purple hair and love for blue while he calls her an Umpa Lumpa because she was shorter than him.  They would always be found irritating/annoying each other, even the way they greet each other starts off with insults.

✣ The two of them are always seen trying to best each other and always competing with one another.  It was a wonder to the other people around them how they haven't already killed each other.  But when they have projects together they always tend to wow the people with the results of the project.  But during such times they "playfully" bully each other even more which really get people thinking how they get such wonderful results from the two of them when they act the way they do.

✣ Baro is an easygoing guy who knows the fine line between fun and reckless.  He's often the one who's very silly in the group making everyone laugh.  He's childish and a bit mischievous but knows when to be serious.  Like Xiulin he's rather simple and easy to understand.

How you met/meet: 

✣ It was when the girls were doing a concert with other artists.  Xiulin was looking for the bathroom backstage and he just happened to be the one to point her to the wrong direction.  He had given her directions to the stage not the bathroom.  She of course got the right directions from another staff member.  She ran into him again in the hallway calling him out on giving her the wrong directions but Baro explained that he didn't mean to and gave her the correct directions.  She said it was too late walking away from him not before she heard him ask if she had an accident which stopped her in her tracks.  She stiffly turned towards him and what she saw was a playful smirk playing on his lips.  Xiulin simply answered no, because she was big girl sticking out her tongue at him and walking away. She knew it would be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

✣ They often tease each other and play fight.  Often enough Xiulin is the one to instigate their play fighting and Baro just goes along with the flow.  People who don't know the two well would have thought that they hated each other.

✣ Sohyun is actually a pretty reasonable girl but she's extremely competitive.  She's kind and caring to those close to her but once a person gets on her bad side be prepared for a whole lot of attitude coming.  She gets very aggressive and derogatory towards those on her bad side.

✣ Xiulin had bested her in a free-style rapping battle.  It wasn't an official battle, it was only for fun but when Xiulin a rookie beat her, Sohyun did not take that well at all.

✣ He has this sort of cool guy aura about him.  He's pretty easygoing and rather playful.  He can also be pretty childish and serious when he needs to be.  But when he's not very comfortable with someone he grows quiet and becomes very awkward.

how you met/meet: 

✣ They met even before she got into SM Ent to train.  She was shopping; well actually she was lost when she bumped into him.  The bags they were carrying were similar so when they picked up what they thought was their shopping bag, their stuff got switched.  When Xiulin realized this she went back to the area she bumped into him only to see him looking around for her.  She giggled to herself looking at his actions because he would duck his head away from people if they got to close to him which confused her.  She sneaked up behind him wanting to know what sort of reaction he'd show her and he didn't disappoint.  She lightly tapped him on the shoulder which sent him jumping almost 3 metres away from her to her amusement.

✣ They exchanged bags and names but other than that they went on their way.  The next time they meet is after her debut and the group is performing on stage with various artists.  One of the many artists that were present was B.A.P where she instantly recognized Daehyun.  She finally understood why he was ducking away from people on the day they met.

Scene suggestions:

✣ Where she ends up taking care of Hyuk because he got sick and she was the only one available to take care of him because everyone else had some other schedule to do.  She saw it as divine punishment but she ends up doing as she's told.  She cooks for him, wipes his sweat for him and even changes his clothes for him.  She brought him food to eat that she had to feed him because he was too weak to do it himself.  She even scolded him to take his medication and change his clothes, but this was the first time he smiled at her genuinely.  It was the first time he saw a caring side of her even though she was still threatening to do him bodily harm if he didn't listen to her.  At the end their group members came to visit to find Xiulin sitting on the floor with her head on the bed sleeping peacefully while Hyuk was also sleeping with a wash cloth on his forehead to keep his temperature down.

✣ A scene where Xiulin has a day off to go visit Luhan.  But ends up having to take a rain check because a last minute schedule came up with VIXX.  She complained about not being able to spend her precious time with her precious Luhan-oppa which got Hyuk a little jealous.

✣ She was wondering around the company because she was bored and the girls got a 10 minute break from practice.  She spotted Hyuk sitting alone with his head down, wanting to surprise him she sneaked behind him only to realise he was sleeping.  Without really thinking about it she took a picture of his sleeping face on her phone while briefly thinking his sleeping face looked cute.
