I hate titles

If you love someone, let them go. If they return to you, it was meant to be. If they don't, their love was never yours to begin with...

I really don't get this quote. Like who does it even refer to in a relationship? If a couple breaks up but they both still liked each other...would they like both wait for the other to come back, which hence means none of them will because they're waiting. So both would think that they really were never in love.
If someone says it's not working and breaks up, and the other lets them go. Is it in them to try harder to get the other back or are they just meant to leave it and think well, if she/he comes back then it was meant to be. Or is it the one who got away's choice? I mean surely if two people break up and you still love them and you let them get away, how is that showing your love for them?

Its like the whole, I say I'm fine but I'm not. I want you to hug me and tell me everything is alright.

I somehow believe some break ups are like that. It's obviously only me but like when people say I don't think it's working out that whole sentence reals of I love you so much but I don't think you like me as much or smth like I want it to work but something doesn't feel right.

Idk. I've waffled again. I should really shut up omg. Ugh anyway, what are your interpretations on this quote?
/leaves some more

I hate certain quotes about love. Like someone just says it and everyone worships that quote. Really?

That quote you mentioned emphasises on not forcing relationships, sometimes forcing them could have 'bad' consequences. But then again, your points have already deemed the quote meaningless.
