I freaking love my school.

If you have not actually been to my school, you may assume that it's a pretty typical American high school. Social pyramid goes as follows: football players and cheerleaders, then the people who hang around them, then normal people, then the geeks. And that would be totally wrong. Oh, how it makes me laugh.

In my grade, there are a lot of really smart people. Those people are also usually really laid-back, funny, and are all really good friends. They are also somehow more popular than cheerleaders (who are actually nice, not like in those stereotypial high school movies). Most of them are my friends. And a lot of the guys are really cute. I'm serious. Two of my best guy friends are from that class, and it freaks me out that girls come up to me and go "Hey, isn't ___ sooo cute?" or "I like ___." I don't know how to respond since I actually know them, and they're more like brothers. So, now one girl thinks that we actually are siblings, even though we don't really look alike.

There are a lot of really good-looking guys at my school. Pretty much every type you can imagine. There are:

Baseball players with pretty faces and abs and muscles

Theater boys that are very smart and funny

Tall pretty boys

Musicians that play guitar and sing in the courtyard / hallways

Cute yet slightly not as smart boys, but it somehow only makes them cuter

NJROTC guys (I mean, come on. They have to wear a uniform once a week.)

Band geeks

Guys that can sing

Pretty boys with a slightly darker, tough image

Guys that randomly do backflips at lunch (I'm not kidding)

boys that take care of their appearance

southern boys

country boys

So, yeah.

And then there are the teachers. My chorus teacher is a recording artist. The band / Music Theory teacher is a former male model. My French teacher used to live in Europe and also speaks German.

Classes are fun too. My physical science class is filled with baseball players and they are all cute. Not complaining at all. Chorus is chorus. We have a choice of three languages to take. There's a class on how to write music.

I really do like my school.
