Dream Kpop Fantasy Concert

I was supposed to write this on Tumblr but I love AFF more than Tumblr so.. yeah.

January 19, 2013.

Wow. Just wow. I never thought I would be able to watch a kpop concert like ever. Yes I have seen ZE:A and F.cuz live and up close as well but this was different. It was not just one song per band. It was like, 45 minutes for each. The feeling was overwhelming. I may sound exaggerated because I was at the furthest part but it was awesome. The feeling of knowing that they were just in front of you singing live just adds a big something to the experience. Okay.. Exo did not really sang History and Mama live but they absolutely gave more than the effort they should give given the fact that they serenaded us with a Filipino song they definitely showed us that they actually think of their fans. Seeing and listening to a couple of bands that I absolutely adore perform live really fed my fan girl soul. It may sound cliché but the feeling cannot be explained through words.

Having a bronze ticket was enough for me. Yes it was definitely far from stage but they were still visible. It the first ever concert that I have watched and I completely enjoyed the whole show. It was tiring to stand for almost four hours but knowing the fact that they were there, standing for them was worth it. For a 900-peso worth ticket, it was worth it for me. (Despite the fact that a gazillion fans got gold tickets for free and that it hurt my heart so much.)

Infinite was absolutely amazing, their vocals and faces were, well, as a typical fan would say – daebak. L’s voice was a bit shaky though but he can work on that. He’s handsome though. I don’t really know I just watch from the big screen. /laughs/ Yadong performed Special Girl a bit too. Dongwoo is extremely good looking. He was glowing. I mean, his aura was totally different from the other members.

Second, Tasty. I did not really watch them because I was tired of tiptoeing for Infinite but they were awesome too. They were English speakers, beautiful faces and awesome dancers. Their vocals were okay. It was kind of obvious that the only line they sang live was “Neon na ara!” I’m not sure. I was at the back and that was the only line that I can hear clearly. But yeah, they were amazing twins.

U-Kiss. Too bad AJ is not there, Xander and Kibum too. But for certain Philippines has a special part in U-Kiss’ heart. They have returned here a lot of times already. (Despite the fact of having little market share and /probably/ low revenue they still come back) They announced that AJ is coming back on March. I think. Kevin still needs to go to a dermatologist. Dongho is a baby. Eli is gorgeous. Kiseop is beautiful. Hoon has amazing vocals too. Soohyun and Kevin have perfect vocals. What. I’m a Kiss me.

Tahiti. Okay I know zero about this group except their mime –like dance but they were awesome. They have pretty and clear voices. They offer awesome fan service. They interact with the audience well. They have almost perfect English pronunciation. They have one member who speaks English. She’s my bias. Whoever she is.

Exo. I don’t want to sound biased but they were definitely the highlight of the whole concert. They have defeated Infinite in terms of good looks. Kris, Luhan, Chanyeol and Chen were handsome beyond words. They have defeated Tasty in their dance moves. Kai and Lay – enough said. They have defeated U-Kiss in terms of vocals. Chen, DO, Luhan and Baekhyun have angel-like voices. No. They are angels. They absolutely defeated Tahiti in terms of fan service. Kris’ conceited comments and gestures, their random skinships, the roses and everyone’s favorite – HEWEK KEMEY. The only Korean idol I have heard sing a Filipino song was Xander and honestly, he failed, but it was the thought that counts. He thought of singing a Filipino song for his Filipino fans. It is pretty much obvious that Exo thought of their Filipino fans as well.

SNSD. I did not really get to watch them because my cousin called me. She was crying because she did not get to attend the concert. As a sweet unni that I am I moved to the side of the speaker just to let her hear SNSD’s voices. She was really bawling her eyes out. Believe me; I did not know what to say. I just kept on telling her that the year is just starting and there will be other idols that will hold a concert here. I wish..

To wrap up, the whole experience gave a huge impact on my fan girl life.
