Personality:

Skye may look gentle and cute from a distance, but once you try to strike a conversation with her, that's when you realize that you were wrong by a long shot. She already gives off this aura that she wants to do everything alone - independent. She has no care for what people has to say, do, etc. She's indifferent to everything which is why she's alone the majority of the time. While others socialize, Skye would either be reading a new book or doing something else on her own. Sure, Skye has friends, but she doesn't treat them any different from strangers. She tends to wander off without telling them where she's going, she doesn't ask how they're doing, if they want to hang out, etc. but she does have a soft spot for them.

One thing to get straight about Skye is that everything is based on realistic things. That means no vampires, werewolves, and definitely no LOVE. She finds it to be a human flaw that shouldn't have been made. And she means the kind where you 'fall in love.' Family love and friendly love are another thing to her. But Skye doesn't believe in falling in love, but that people just gets lonely and when they find someone comfortable to be with they think they're in love. But Skye believes that the love will never last for more than a fleeting moment. To her, Love is something different. Something you have passion in, something that interest you.

Skye isn't a very strong person, let's start with that. She's independent and has no need for companionship, sure, but when faced with a critical situation she tends to run away. She's not the type to be in the spotlight, actually she shies away from it. Being in the back is something she's comfortable with and she would never step outside of her comfort box. So although intelligent, she's a very humble person who doesn't care about having her name out there. As long as she's comfortable, then life is perfect.

Background:

Skye was born in the USA. California was where her parents got married and had her. Everything was alright when she was younger. She remembered having a great time and being close with her mom. But then her mom started getting this horrible flu. As soon as her mother got sick, her father barely came around to help. He would stay at his work place since he couldn't handle seeing the love of his life so weak. Skye was the only one who ever tried to take care of her mom.

Her mom didn't live for a year after contracting the flu. She died from leukemia when Skye was 7. When she died, Skye blamed everything on her dad. She blamed him for not being around when he should've. For not loving his wife enough to try and help. Instead, he stayed at his workplace. She also blamed him for moving them to Ilsan, Korea where she couldn't visist her mother's grave anymore, she was 8 at the time. It was through her father that she developed the sense that love truly isn't real. It's when things gets tough that people slowly fall from it. So, she stayed away from the love life and focused on her studies. Eventually, her father created a new software that became a hit in Korea and her family benefited from it.

Flowers - Her mother use to love them, and so Skye picked up on that love as well.
Quiet places - It means that she's either alone or it means that she can be left alone.
Spring - It's the season where flower blooms and the air gives a refreshing feeling.

So the very first day they met, which was the opening ceremony of Ilsan for incoming freshmen, Jongup went up to her with a wide smile and introduced himself. But Skye ignored him, although, Jongup didn't give up. | As close as a pair of twins. Jongup is the only guy Skye would possibly ever talk to or be concerned for. Love Interest: Jang Dongwoo
Personality: Dongwoo is a very laidback guy who only tries hard when he has his mind set on something or when he has a goal. He doesn't care about what happens around him, as long as it doesn't involve him. When he has his mind set on something, he is very stubborn and can be very persistent. it's not easy to take him down with insults, and he's very open minded. Judging a book by it's cover, definitely a no by Dongwoo. If he wants to befriend someone, he'll actually try and get to know the person. He's a passionate guy who believes that everything was meant to be and that everything happens for a reason. He's both intelligent and creative. A balance between the both that you often can't find in people nowadays.

First Meeting: Skye first met him in the library. He was snoozing away in between the aisle and he was blocking the way to a book she wanted. So, she tried to get it but ended up kicking him. He woke up and acted rude to her, but Skye just gave him a blank look and ignored him. Ever since then, she sees him often inside the library, not sleeping.

Love Rival: Bang Yongguk
Personality: Yongguk is a loud and rowdy guy who often finds himself in trouble. But he doesn't mean to be in trouble, it just comes to him naturally. Maybe it's because of his rugged and tough look and his deep voice. Whatever it is, he's a magnet for it. He's rash and often think later when getting into critical situations. He's not generally open to the public, but with his friends you'll definitely find him smiling and laughing a lot. Likes to avoid people since they always tend to judge him first without getting to know them. But he's actually a sweet and caring guy and he's very protective of his close friends.

What do you like about him?: The sweet side that he tends to show her at surprising times.

To win you over: By being persistent and by helping her when she's in deep trouble since she often faces these things alone or when Jongup is around.
