Day 4: Jackie, Dear Friend

Jackie, Dear Friend

Jackie, Jackie
All day long I taste your kiss on the back of my throat
And I want more

Subtle hints of honey
And a never ending kick
Though nauseating you may seem
Substance over semblance

The whirlwind of colors you bring is never enough
The flashing red
Now blue?
When did that small group of people multiply by so much?
Spinning like a top
And I feel on top
But I had to fall, I had to

The colors are gone
Along with the rush
When the night has passed, I'm left with the sting of a thousand bees
Still I return to you
I need more

I'm just a girl and you, who is beyond my years, have me entranced
Oh Jackie, dear friend
Your Tennessee ways have charmed me completely
Our lewd affair is now set in stone

Now I'm back on track! Of the four poems I've written so far, this one is my favorite! I'm sure someone knows what I'm talking about... Until next time!

okay- i can see this meaning multiple things- though i'm not too sure which way you intended it to be read.
like, of course, it's probably talking about being infatuated with a girl and perhaps the things they do;
but i sort of also see this working with any kind of obsession- good or bad.
i wanted to comment right after you ha posted lol but i was tired and wasn't in the smartest mood. now that i reread i can kind of understand a little better (i hope).
i quite like this one too! good job, my friend! ^^
