The Best Breakfast *~*
A couple people asked about the 3-in-one cornbred bowls, so I figured I'll just put the recipe in a blog post for y'all. IT'S AMAZING. TRY IT. *~*
3 in 1 Cornbread Bowl: Serves 5.
Prepare one 8 1/2 ounce box of cornbread mix according to the box's directions. Spoon about 1/3 cup of batter into each of 5 individual greased glass baking dishes (1 pint size). Place 2 sausage links on top of the mix in each dish, leaving space in the center for an egg. Break an egg onto the batter. Bake in 375º F. oven 18 to 20 minutes or until the eggs set. Serve in the baking dishes with butter and syrup.
And my mom made a note on the recipe that if bubbles form in the egg in the middle of its baking time, poke them so they'll pop...'cause if the bubbles cook into it then their consistency is weird. XD My mom uses Brown 'n Serve sausages and Jiffy cornbread mix usually. Yum...
