What I'm feeling right now

I feel the tears burning in my eyes; my throat feels like it's on fire; but I can't let the tears out. Not yet. Not until the door is closed and I'm within the safety of my room.
My dad won't let me go to Montreal. He just flat out said it. I can't go. If you don't know how important this is to me, then compare it to watching your most beloved person dying right in front of your eyes. Watch the life drain out of him/her and you'll know what I'm feeling right now.

awww.... parents always want the best for their children but they often don't like to admit their own insecurities so they come off as rude and unreasonable. Sit him down and weasel the absolute truth out of him and then go. Or impress him by making a power-point explaining valid arguments and your own feelings towards how important it is. :D /lol i know i'm lame and goignt o be bricked/
