Some Old Poems

These are the shorter of my few poems. The longer ones will be coming soon.

Black Keys

Looking forward to you everyday
Reluctant to leave you every night
Eyes glued to the clock as time passes slowly
The incessant ticking
Tick Tick Tick
I fly out of that room and rush to you as soon as I get the chance
Everything seems to fade as I'm greeted by your incandescent smile
All thoughts in my head flee as my mind floods with just you
I run my hands across your smooth body and press in just the right places to get the perfect sound combinations
As I'm doing this, I can't help but to admire you
Again
Everything is just so perfect
Never had a rainbow been so dull until I met you
Never have black and white keys had a brighter glow

A Gift

Just take it
If I'm offering, that means I want you to have it
Don't hesitate
Don't deny me of my want to give myself to you
I'm yours and only yours so take me while you have the chance
Take me now before I'm no longer able to give myself to anyone
Before it's too late
I don't want things to end like this, but when dealing with you, they just might

True

As our hands touch, I knew it was true
The love that I felt for you
So kind you were to help me
While I was down
Hearing shouts of "hideous" and "ugly" as we walk hand in hand
The whole world hates you but the whole world doesn't matter
To me, you are the most beautiful person
Looks don't matter but your words are music to my ears
