► Sol Bi's eyes are a dark brown color. Sometimes it's hard to tell if her eyes have any color at all because her iris' are so dark. Her hair is also dark brown. In the winter, her hair is close to black but when summer rolls around, her hair becomes dark brown due to sun bleach. Her bangs are cut straight across and depending on the day she will swoop them to one side or the other. She usually wears her bangs down but when she is painting, drawing, or working, she will pin them back. The rest of her hair is naturally wavy. She usually doesn't do anything with it unless she is around her parents. She will tie it up into a bun to look more business like. Sol Bi is shorter than average. Not by much though. She isn't under weight or over weight just in the middle. Her legs and arms are proportionate to her body. Her chubby cheeks gets her mistaken quite often for a younger child, which she hates. Her mother will make fun about how chubby and unprofessional her cheeks are. She has no tattoos because her parents would never let her hear the end of it if she were to even think about getting one. She does have her ear lobes pierced. That is the only alteration of her body that her parents would allow her to have.

► Sol Bi has two different types of wardrobes. One when her parents are at work and she is by herself and one when her parents are around.
   ► Independence - When she is painting, drawing, with her friends, or working, she likes to wear simple clothes with her hair down and bangs tied back. She loves to be simple but still look cute at the same time. She usually has a bag with her to carry her sketchbooks, drawing pencils, paint and watercolor books. She loves to layer her clothes in the winter. Be it wearing a shirt, sweater, coat, skirt, leggings and boots, she will just wear what is comfortable. In the summer she wears t-shirts, jeans, shorts, and tennis shoes. Basic summer attire! At this time, her earrings are usually bows or something cute. She keeps the appearance of being sort of cute while still being practical. Whatever she's not allowed to wear when her parents are around, she wears when they are gone.
   ► Being Watched - When her parents are home, Sol Bi will wear a dress or a bussiness like outfit and change her earrings to pearls or whatever fits the outfit. She ties her hair up into a bun and wears heels often. Her parents wants her to look professional all the time no matter what.

► Sol Bi is only smart because she was forced to be that way. Sure she would have the common level of knowlegde, but her parents put her through several Math and Science classes to prep her for medical school. She would rather be artistically smart than logically smart. Her creativity plays hand in hand with this. Being artistically smart, she can imagine so many things and that it was she likes to do on a daily basis. Being imaginative helps her deal with so many things that are going on in her life. Which makes it easy for her to day dream often.
► She is loving of art and the people that she keeps close. She loves her grandmother, Jin Woo and her five best friends to no end and will do anything for them even if it means defying her parents to keep them safe. Her art is the second most thing important thing to her and she will not give it up no matter what anyone says. Taking away her friends and art would be like telling someone they aren't allowed to eat or drink anymore. Seems impossible right?
► When it comes to new things, she is afraid. She has gone so long with doing what her parents tell her to do that trying new things almost seems like breaking a law. Obedience is the most horrible trait that she hates about herself. She hates that she carries out the will of her parents so easily yet never complains about it and then regrets it later. She longs for the day when she is able to break out of her shell and tell her parents no.
► In many situations, she lets her shyness get the best of her. Especially when it comes to meeting new people. She's shy because she doesn't know if people will accept her but the main reason is she doesn't want people to be hurt by her parents. Unfortunately, her being so shy can put her into vulnerable situations. Situations where she is so afraid to speak that she just does what she is told instead. In other situations, her shyness can lead to awkwardness. Which also makes it hard to meet new people because they never seem to be able to break down that wall of silence.
► Sol Bi is adorable, she has always been told that. But then again, she has also been made fun of by it. Especially by Jihyun and her mother. She is really self concious about her cheeks because she has been told they are too big for her face. Her mother always tells her that her big cheeks are very unprofessional and ugly. When she is told that her cheeks are cute, she will smile widely and look down. Which can bring out the loving side in her. But other than that, she is self-conscious about being made fun of because in most cases, she will take it to heart.

◄ story of her life -

► When her mom had Sol Bi, they lived in Busan. Her parents had both grown up in Busan and met in medical school. About a montht after Sol Bi was born, they were both offered a job in Seoul. Needless to say, they moved to Seoul. Sol Bi grew up in a rich community where everyone is the same you must have respect for your elders. When she was finally able to play out in the yard, she met the boy next door, Park Jin Woo. Their friendship started right when they first met. Yes, Jin Woo was from a rich family who owned a popular Korean clothing company, but his parents weren't nearly as strict as Sol Bi's was. Her parents were okay with their friendship up until she started to become a mature young lady. By the age of 13, her parents started to get rid of her favorite play clothes and shoes and started replacing them with dress pants, business like dresses and flats. Sol Bi started to realize that her freedoms were dwindling down to none. When she entered her last year of middle school, her rival, Nam Jihyun showed up. Her family was a new doctoring family that had just moved to Seoul and they had recently started competing for patients. Jihyun didn't like Sol Bi even a little bit. She would and make fun of her, but Sol Bi was too shy to stand up for herself so she just let it continue. In that same year, her school had hired a new art teacher and Sol Bi didn't care until she was put into an art class. The teacher was unlike any other teacher she had ever had before. She taught about escaping through your art, keeping your mind wide open, and expression. Her teacher allowed Sol Bi to discover a side of herself that she would've never thought existed. Sol Bi started to enjoy art class more and more until it became the only class she thought about all day long. Sol Bi and her art teacher became close and Sol Bi would tell her about how she can't tell her parents about her artistic abilities but she can't handle going a day and a half without drawing or painting. Her teacher ended up giving her watercolor paint, a sketch pad, drawing pencils and a watercolor pad. Sol Bi couldn't of been happier! She hid them in the most far back corner under her bed knowing that her parents would never find them there. But unfortunately there comes a time when everyone has to go to high school. Sol Bi didn't want to leave behind her amazing art teacher, but she knew that in order to become a better artist, she has to take more challenging classes. High School brought nothing but misery. Her parents noticed that her schedule was being filled with more art classes than math and science. So they made an appointment with the school's principal to change that without Sol Bi knowing. On the 5th day of school, Sol Bi was taken out of her art class and put into a math class. Before she knew it, any chance of her taking an art class for the rest of high school became impossible. She wanted her life to end because art was the only way she could express herself and now her parents had taken that away. So she went back to her middle school art teacher and they set up days where Sol Bi could come in and recieve private lessons without her parents knowing. Later that week, she set up plans to hang out with Jin Woo but her mother refused it. She told Sol Bi that she wouldn't be allowed to hang out with him because he was only trouble and would mess up her future in becoming a doctor. Finally Sol Bi stood up for her friendship and told her parents that if they take her friendship away, they would never see her again. From that day, her parents haven't really made a bash towards Jin Woo even though they still really dislike him. By the age of 17 they started Sol Bi in a private Japanese learning program. Her tutor comes every Tuesday and Thursday. Once she can speak fluent Japanese, her parents plan on sending her to Japan to go to medical school so nothing will interfere with her future. Sol Bi hates every minute of learning Japanese and being in her house. All she wants to do is attend her private art lessons, draw and paint. When she turned 18, she graduated highschool not long after and her parents start to put her future in motion. They start looking for the best medical schools in Japan. Since she doesn't have to go to school anymore, she leaves while her parents are at work. Soon her drawing paper, painting paper, and paint started to run out and she couldn't ask her parents to buy her more. So she went out and found a help wanted sign at a small buffet close to home. She works the same time as her parents and her shift ends in time for her to get home and get changes so they don't suspect anything. The money she earns from waitressing goes to her new art supplies and buying clothes that she wants to wear when her parents aren't around. In November of that year, her grandmother started to call around and wanted to spend more time with Sol Bi. Her parents refused and said that she would be a bad influence on Sol Bi. So Sol Bi found out where here grandmother was and visited her when her parents were gone and when she didn't have to work. She knew that she could trust her grandmother as much as she trusted Jin Woo. After hearing everything about Sol Bi, her grandmother looked her in the eyes and said don't let your parents run your life because if you do, you will turn out as miserable as they are. Sol Bi takes these words to heart and starts to think about these words. She thinks about ways she can escape her future but all hope seems to be lost. The same day she is lost in her thoughts, she didn't realize that a new person had been hired at her job so she doesn't have to work as she has been. Yoona proves herself to be a sweet and kind person. She listens to what Sol Bi has to say, and will give her advice. The day she turned 19, was a work day. She was glad to spend it at work rather than at her house. She happened to over hear a group of five girls talking about their get away to escape the reality of their lives and when they comeback they will finally get what they deserve, freedom. Sol Bi couldn't believe her ears, girls around her age, wanting the exact same thing as her. It was almost too good to be true. While she was listening to them, a handsome young man rushed into the shop and looked around for an employee. Sol Bi walked to the front and he payed for an eat out box. He was really kind and well-mannered despite his hurry. Sol Bi couldn't help but think about him and then her thoughts returned to the girls and before they left, she introduced herself to them and told them all about her life and how she wants to get out of being a doctor and become an artist. Thankfully, they let her in on their plan that someday soon, the were going to break out of this place and start a rebellion. Sol Bi, for once, felt like she was living. Even if that meant putting off her unfortunate future for just a little bit, she would do whatever it takes.

They haven't really experienced a father-daughter relationship yet. When talking with him, it is all business and you better have a good reason to bother him when he is in his home office. Everything he talks about is being in the doctoring feild and treating patients. He will listen to his wife over anyone and if he decides on something, it cannot be changed.

► mother - Shin Eun Kyung - 45 - alive - Doctor - Persistent, Strict, Deadline-Oriented, Boring, Uptight - Mother is just about as boring as her father. Her mother is always talking about the day when Sol Bi gets her doctoring license. When ever Sol Bi tries to talk to her mom about something, she gets ignored or her mom doesn't talk to her enough to even call it help. Her mother is strict when Sol Bi seems to be straying from the pathway of becoming a doctor and she will not tolerate any reasons about Sol Bi and her want for other things in life. She wants to get Sol Bi on the path of becoming a doctor as soon as she can without any hesitations.

► grandmother - Jung Ryeo Won - 72 - alive - Grocery Store Clerk - Kind, Loving, Open-Minded, Good-Listener, Wise - Sol Mi loves her grandmother very much, most times she would rather stay with her grandmother over her own parents. Ryeo Won inspired her to follow what she wants to do rather than abiding by her parents wishes. She keeps telling Sol Bi that in any situation, take a chance, because you may not get the same chance again down the road.

► the mother-like figure - She gets along with her well. Sol Bi isn't exactly 'buddy-buddy' with her, but she is definitely one that Sol Bi respects. If she says something, Sol Bi will always know that she knows what's best. Sol Bi can confide in her no matter what. When they first met, Sol Bi knew that she would definitely be the type of friend to keep around for a lifetime.

► the outgoing princess - She feels bad for her. The fact that she was just over looked by everyone in her family. Sol Bi couldn't imagine being ignored by her family for so long. Especially since she is so pretty and  bubbly. She gets along really well with her and doesn't find anything off setting about her.

► the dubious tomboy - Sol Bi is kind of awkward around her. She has never met anyone around her age that has been pregnant before. She is hesitant around the situation because she doesn't know how to approach asking what happened. Sol Bi wants to get to know her, but she knows that won't happen unless she is approached first.

► the moody ballerina - Sol Bi has a problem with her. She can't stand to be around some one who can be so drepressing and upset all the time. She wishes that the girl will just get over it and move on with her life. Everytime she is around her, she tries her best to ignore it but something always happens. It isn't until she acutally finds out about her past that Sol Bi starts to feel bad about her horrid feelings towards the girl. Sol Bi couldn't imagine losing a parent too.

► the independent angel - Sol Bi is jealous of her. In a good way though. It's like an admiration jealousy. Sol Bi wishes her life could be as simple as hers. Being able to go to Jeju, for fun? That sounds like a dream! Sol Bi talks to her occasionally, but Sol Bi would rather just learn from her instead. Learn how she can be so easy going, and just look at things from a fun point of view.

► best friend - Park Jin Woo - 20 - They act like bother and sister. They practically grew up together. After Sol Bi and her family moved to Seoul, they have been neighbors ever since. They went to the same schools and were in the same grades. He knows everything about her and will do just about anything for her. She looks to him for help when she doesn't know what to do. He teases her a lot but knows when to stop if she starts to get offended. He can be stubborn towards Sol Bi, which she hates him for it. Most of the time when Sol Bi asks for help, he won't. He wants to she if she can figure out what to do on her own rather than relying on him or someone else for help. Sol Bi looks up to Jin Woo a lot. She thinks that he is a very handsome guy and wants him not to worry about her all the time. She wants Jin Woo to find happiness besides her. She admires Jin Woo for being so reserved when things get hectic. She spends a lot of time with Jin Woo. His parents are so accepting of her and her want to be an artist. His life is so simple compared to hers that if she could escape for even one moment by being with someone else, she will take that moment and all it's worth.

► co-worker - Im Yoona - 19 - They are comfortable around each other. Sol Bi wouldn't exactly spill out all of her life's details, but she can trust Yoona with helping her in what to do if Jin Woo isn't any help. Sol Bi also likes to talk to Yoona because she is actually more of a listener rather than a talker. Yoona is curious to learn about Sol Bi and wants to help her if possible. They have exchanged numbers but don't really text or call each other. They don't really have any contact outside of work.

► rival - Nam Jihyun - 19 - Jihyun is mean to Sol Bi. Ji Hyun and Sol Bi's parents are both very good doctors in the medical field. Ji Hyun is like a modern day princess compared to Sol Bi. Unlike Sol Bi, Jihyun isn't pressured by her parents to become a doctor. Instead, Jihyun has the freedom to become what ever she wants with the support of her parents. Jihyun picks on Sol Bi for it and will rub it in her face. Jihyun wants to make herself superior to Sol Bi no matter what it takes.

► He is very charming and polite. Behind his mask though, he wants to break out and do what he wants to without being judged by everyone that knows him. Sure he likes to talk, but when he isn't being talked to or asked a question, he stays quiet to avoid being disrespectful. When it comes to something he is interested in or something he has, and someone or something tries to take it away, he will fight for it. If he were to have a girl friend, he wants her to make him her top priority, or he may become jealous. He is protective over the people that he loves, which aren't very many. His beautiful smile is enough to fool anyone. There are times where he really means it, but other times when he is not sincere and he couldn't care less. Yes he is hardworking, but very soon he wants to work hard to find his life that he has always dreamed about instead of doing what everyone expects him to do. He is really intelligent when it comes to math and technology but he has done it so much he's beginning to regret it.

► Sol Bi recognized him only. One day he had rushed into the buffet to get something to go. But she remembered admiring him for how nice he was despite the rush he was in. She sees him again when he goes to Jeju for a business trip. Yes she starts to like him, but she feels like it's a lost cause.

► he - He finds her adorable and really sweet. His favorite thing to do is stand off in the distance and watch her draw and paint. He can tell that she tries to avoid him but he doesn't understand why. He wants to find out her secrets and stand by her side no matter what. He will not lose her to anything or anyone no matter what. When he is around her, he feels like the world has no limits.

► she - She is afraid to look him in the eyes. When he is around, she is quiet and avoiding eye contact at all times. She stutters if he talks to her or even if he is in the same area as her. She doesn't know how to handle her feelings. Then there's always the 'What if my parents find out? They will never approve.". She is afraid that no matter how much she loves him, he will get taken away by her parents. Nervousness is always causing her to shake and not be able to think correctly. Even though she loves him very much, she doesn't want to get too attached because she is afraid of what the future will hold.

► Baekhyun gets to Jeju the day after the girls get there. He was only intending to stay there a few days because he was on a business trip. However, there is an adorable girl that catches his eye. He starts to see more of her and his feelings grow stronger. The more his feelings grow, the more he wants to tell her. Sol Bi however, the more her feelings grow, the more she tries to run away from it. If they were to have a relationship, she knows for sure that her parents would never approve and they wouldn't be allowed to see each other anymore. After they start seeing a lot of each other, Baekhyun finally gets tired of beating around the bush and decides to take his chances by asking Sol Bi to be his girlfriend. She is speechless and instead of a spoken answer, she blushes madly and smiles. As their relationship progress, Sol Bi starts to become more nervous. She starts to tell Baekhyun less and less about herself. She doesn't want to be hugged, kissed or even hold hands with Baekhyun. She starts talking to Jin Woo about what she should do because her strong feelings are starting to scare her. When Baekhyun finds out about Jin Woo, he thinks that he was only a side project of hers. After she gets off the phone with him, Baekhyun wants to meet up with her. So she meets with him and he said that he's breaking up with her and he accuses her of cheating and that he meant nothing to her when really all she wanted to do is protect him. Sol Bi has never encountered this level of heart break before and doesn't know what to do with herself. After awhile, just before Baekhyun is about to fly back to Korea, Sol Bi stops him and tells him about why she was acting the way she did and that he means the world to her. Baekhyun has to think about it for awhile but he does end up forgiving her. After they are back together, Baekhyun promises that he will protect her from anything. But she knows there is still on last impossible obstacle they have to face. Her parents.

► What does she like to draw/paint? - Sol Bi likes to draw random people that she sees out and about. Her favorite place is in the park. To Sol Bi, everyone has a story and their story is written on their face no matter how hard they try to hide it. Sol Bi likes to paint landscapes and seasons. Her favorite season to paint is spring. Painting makes her escape to a whole new world where she feels she can show her potential without anyone telling her that she can't do something.

► What is her ideal type personality-wise? - Her ideal type would be someone who listens well and isn't afraid to give his input. Someone who can protect her from her partents and who will praise her for her art work and isn't afraid to give critisism. She just wants someone who despite her parents wishes, won't run away and someone who won't allow her to give up on her dreams even after she's worked so hard. He can't be obnoxious but sort of reserved and isn't afraid to have fun once in awhile.

► What was your first impression of the 'the perfect dream man'? - My first impression was that maybe after all of his hardships of going what he has been through to get to where he is at would turn him into a snobby rich boy. But suprisingly, his good qualities stayed with him and he is still searching for his happiness and freedom without giving up. His character truly is remarkable.

► What makes her attracted to 'the perfect dream man?' - Sol Bi is so attracted to him because of what he has gone through, he isn't stuck up or mean. He has had almost the exact same life as her, except she didn't have to work to get where she is. She loves the fact that he is sweet and gentle-man like. She finds that really likeable and really wants to be with him.

► How does her parents react when she comes back? - When Sol Bi gets back, her parents are worrysome and very angry with her. They don't understand why she left so suddenly. As soon as she gets back, her mother says that they have already enrolled her in medical school and will not tolerate her procrastination anymore. They start telling Sol Bi about how they started going through her room to see if they could find clues as to where she has gone but instead they find all of her secret paintings and drawings. Sol Bi tells them that she wants to become and artist. Unlike the reaction she was expecting, her parents explode on her saying that becoming an artist is a waste of time and money and she will never amount to anything in life.
