Plan is usually better (in my opinion) but you need self control
cons: radiation thingy it gives you heart disease and brain something. that''s probably the worse a phone could get. if you have control of yourself it's not as bad as people make it gettig addicted and stuff
communicating with people who are far away, if you're lost you can call someone for help, games/entertainment, and some have movies and music too. They have calendars, notes, timers, calculators, I forget what their called but my counts the times you walk.
Cons-Some are VERY expensive, some are very delicate and break easily. Cases for the phones are flipping expensive sometimes...My mom bought a case for her iPhone for 30 dollars.

1,You'll never be bored (Unless it's not charged. Lol),
2. You can easily contact people when in an emergency.
3. If you don't to look like a loner, just use your phone and it'd look like you're texting somebody (LOL. It's what I do)
4. Can be used for an alarm.
5. Calenders on phone remind you when this and that is happening. So it's a good reminder thingie.
6. Music. Duhh. LOL. c:
7. Internet. Heavenly internet. LOL. Unless you get a cheap phone and stuff.
Cons:
1. Having it out in public is hazardous with thieves and stuff like that.
2. People who don't have phones might get bored and annoyed with you if you keep on using it.
3. You might get too attached to your phone.
4. Might distract you from chores/studies.
5. It might ring in class and you might get in trouble.

Phones are real useful but I got too attached to my one. OTL.
Pros: able to read fics on the go, if a creepy dude is following you can pretend to text or call your imaginary bf (mine's is Sehun), listen to music when people start to blabber on about boring things, can call you're friend in the middle of the night even just because you're bored, not wait outside in the freezing temp while waiting for your dad to pick you up (this happened to me cause I had after school classes and had to wait outside of the school in the dark,by myself with the temp being neg. 1)
Cons: Get to hooked on the fics and get distracted easily, creepy dude might continue to follow you cause you're phone looks awesome, said person might say something important but your earphones were glued to your ears,friend might kill you for disturbing beauty sleep, can destroy YOUR beauty sleep
All in all, my phone is my bible and my baby so it is a defo!
Pros: I can write updates with it whenever. And it can double as an ebook reader with my kindle app. Basically, it is the apps in a smartphone that make life easier. For others, it is purely for communication. For Keeper who doesn't text or call much, it is for writing, reading and entertainment.
Con. It could be a distraction from studies or work.
I had my first phone when I started highschool because my school is two rides away from home.
