► her family is one of the richest family in the city since her father is a popular lawyer of the country. They didn't expect another child after their forth child, so she's just an unexpected addition for her family. Her parents didn't give her enough attention for her because they're busy with their law firm and her older siblings education. They just simply give her money, food, and place to live for 21 years of her life. Even though she tried hard to impress them, they didn't expect her to be accepted in a medical school. She first met the mother-like figure when she's 8 at a party held by her parents, and she became Milly's first friend.

He doesn't talk a lot and more like listener, and a great observer. He's an objective guy and says the truth, doesn't matter if it hurts other or not. He's a logic guy and doesn't really believe in love or 'forever'

► they used to go to the same cafe in Seoul, because the cafe is near their campus. They meet again at Jeju Island as he comes home at holiday. They meet in a small restaurant near the beach where he takes part-time job on holidays

► he - doesn't really like the fact that they meet at Jeju, and sometimes pissed off at her talkative side. He thinks that she talks too much. But slowly opens up to her after she says she admires him

► she -  thinks that fate makes them meet each other at Jeju, so she tries really hard to get closer to him, even though she knows she annoys him a lot. After some time (especially after he opens up to her), she gets really close at him and feels like they know each other for years

He's shocked at first, but then slowly gets friendlier to her and opens up to her and sometimes talk about his problems. He once bluntly says that she has no chance with her senior and has to give up at him. She cries afterwards but then he shows up and cheers her up with unfunny jokes. Her best friends can't categorized their relationship as merely friendship or more than that. They're close and get jealous sometimes, but they never make their relationship clear
