So to start off this blog post, I have to say I was driven by Queen Ella (violetmoons) to write this after reading her blog post about going out of the city for a birthday kinda thing.  Tbh, Ella, you just had an adventure inside your story during your thing because perfection.

Anyways, so I wanted to write this so I could reminisce about the senseless things I did during winter break.  Considering I have no social life and I am socially awkward, here are the things I did indoors in words (there are pics later but patience is a virtue).

Okay so first off, the first thing I did when I came home from school on the last day (December 21st, that's epic huh) was scream.  I was really, really, really happy to get out of school because I was tired.  And I needed rest.  And I was prepared to stay up late at night while surfing the net.

I failed staying up.  But only in the first few weeks.

Anyways, so a brief summary of what I did was I ate, slept, got pissed, became too happy, met new people (online, of course), watch Wong Fu videos, listen to music, weep, read stories, and rinse and repeat.  Sounds fun?  For me, it does.

To break all of those down, here we go.  And my favorite color (or one of my favorite colors) is red, and so I'm gonna use a red mushroom to bullet point these activities.  

  So I ate.  Yup, I ate lots of food.  I just want to say that eating is an essential ingredient in the lives of us humans, and we need it to stay alive (if we want to).  But for some odd reason, I grew slightly addicted to food during break, especially to sweets.  I love chocolate now more than ever, and food is just... unf.  And a New Years feast over at my aunt's house (it was against my will, but for food I attended; and she's not really my aunt because she's my dad's cousin) sufficed my need for this beautiful thing that we consume everyday.  And release everyday as well.

  And then I slept.  For the first few days I slept according to my usual day-to-day schedule (08:30pm - 09:30pm), and had good and vivid dreams.  However, these past few days I slept quite... late.  I actually fawned over the fact that I was up, for the first time, at 12:02 in the morning.  You might say I'm a n00b (and I am, I am completely aware of that), but it was like breaking a world record for me.  Then I broke it again the next night, sleeping at 12:30 in the morning.  But now I'm going back to my usual schedule because school is coming up (on Wednesday) and I want to feel as if I did nothing... wrong, so to say, during break.

  Next, I got pissed.  I think this is an understatement considering I literally felt smoke coming out of my ears during the time I was mad at the world.  But to make things good, we won't focus on this activity.  We should focus on the positive things instead.

  I became too happy.  Wow, the previous activity actually made a good segway into this.  Well, anyways, I did become too happy and Tumblr is to blame for it.  But I don't regret it.  I was really happy seeing the people I know appear on my dashboard (but I was the complete opposite on Facebook), because I knew they were alive and well.  And blogging.  I love you, guys, but man do I love Onew more.  Heh.

  Then I met new people.  I have made new friends here on AFF (mostly people who subscribe to my stories and people who send me friend requests; I LOVE YOU ALL!) and on Tumblr (followers).  You guys definitely made my break beautiful, apart from the food and the lack of sleep.  I have to say my social skills have improved about 1% more, but let's see that come crashing down when I get off of the Internet and go back to school.  Shucks.

  I watched Wong Fu videos.  If any of you guys don't know who or what Wong Fu is, it's basically a group of three guys [Wes, Ted, and Phil; I like Phil] who direct, produce, and act in short films on YouTube [x].  They do all the work and they're really adorable (girls, this is a good news because they're all guys!  Ted is married, though, but still).  By staying on their channel basically, I got to finish one of their webseries called "When It Counts" [4 episodes: x - x - x - x; 3 vlogs: x - x - x] starring globally known choreographer and dancer Yuri Tag and Phil, one of the Wong Fu guys.

I watched most of their Wong Fu weekends because I enjoyed seeing them out of their scripted, acting characters.  You know, just being naturally hilarious and cute.  But for bonus, here's the 4th episode of "When It Counts" because the dance performance was really amazing in this (and the argument between Phil (Matt) and Mike Song (Justin); 05:50).  The dance starts on 09:38.

  I listened to music.  Break was a really good opportunity for me to discover new music and listen to them and dance to them, tadadadada.  I listened to a lot of Ed Sheeran, Underground R&B, usual pop songs you hear on the radio, Far East Movement, and, additionally, I discovered a new artist!  His name is Jireh Lim.  He is a Filipino acoustic singer and one of my favorite songs of him is "Buko" (this word has two meanings in Tagalog: "coconut" or "found out; discover") and it is really sweet.  

Listen to it, if you'd like to hear a new language in the world of music, hahah [x]!  And he also has an English song called "Share Your World" [x], I love it eeeeep.

  I wept.  Let's not talk about this.

  I read stories.  I read them on AFF, hahah, of course.  But I'm not gonna lie, although this is hard to admit, I actually read a couple of stories here and there. The other stories I read are (there are more, but):

  "난 뱀파이어가 오전 [I Am A Vampire]" (it's not in Korean, don't worry, but you will cry again.) [x]

  Rinse and repeat.  Yup.

And in conclusion, I also did other things like I showered and watched TV.  Just kidding.  But seriously, I did other things.  And I also learned how to properly cook Pancit Canton (like, Filipino version of ramen).  And now, pictures!

  So at church, we're having a new sermon series because it's a new year, yay!  And the cover just really fascinates me a lot so I'm gonna brag about it.  It's a picture of Jesus Christ, and I think the shapes are honeycomb?  Yeah, I really liked that.  The title of this year's sermon series is "The Rock of Ages: Our Help in Times of Need".  Now everytime I see the title, I think of Onew's musical and this sermon series booklet.  I love it.  

And if any of you guys are curious, I'm actually a Christian, and it's awesome.  I'll take a minute to brag about my religion.  I love it, I've been a Believer ever since I was a baby and from when I was 1 day old up to now, I'm a very happy and contained person.  Yeah, sure, I have my days, but I get over them because what's there to worry about?  God's got my back, I'm good.  And I'm saved.  So the day when Jesus comes back to Earth, I'm very sure and confident I'll be raptured to Heaven.  Yeah, we believe in these things most people think mythical, but they're not.  I'm proud to be a Christian, but don't worry about me forcing you to be one because I understand some of you guys have other beliefs, but I'm just saying this because I love being a Christian.  And I hope if some of you are moved, consider visiting a Christian/Baptist church and see how God is working to make His Believers' lives marvelous and on His Word.

  And here's me, wearing a beanie.  I don't know why I'm wearing a beanie inside the house but I already took it off like minutes ago, heh.
