Drama review 1: Noriko Goes To Seoul

From now on i have decided to have a review about every movie/drama/anime i watch. I am a crazy movie addict so why not? ^^ I'm not that good in explaining, but i will try my best =) I usually watch horror or action movies, but i watch a few comedy movies too. Not too many romantic movies, but there are a few =) When it comes to korean/japanese dramas i usually prefer romance ^^

I watch about 2-3 movies (maybe more) almost every day, unless i'm stuck on watching a drama =)

My first review will be: Noriko Goes To Seoul

Today i finished the short drama Noriko Goes To Seoul. It is a drama, but it is really short. It is only one episode, which i find a little sad, but the ending was good so in a way i'm glad there arent any more =)

Now, i'll admit, the only reason i watched it was because of Hongki so this might be a little biased, hehe ^^ It's a japanese-korean drama and it's about this woman named Mori Noriko (Takashima Reiko) who goes to Seoul to audition for a song contest or something.

She has a husband and a daughter who is back home in Japan. Her family cant understand why she goes to Seoul to audition, but it actually turns out that she has lung cancer and she does it so her daughter can feel proud of having her as a mom.

She then meets Kim Min Ha (Lee Hongki) who always fails at auditions, even though he has great talent and much passion for music. The two of them becomes friends and Min Ha helps Noriko to become better at singing, but later it actually turns out it's Min Ha who needs help from Noriko to overcome his obstacles to achieve his dream.

The drama was great and i'll admit, i'm not an person who cries easily, but it seems that some dramas have soften me up a bit. Or i was just emotional tonight. Either way, this made me cry like... 2 times. It is a happy drama, but it has some sad moments in it too :(

I liked it, but as i said, this might be biased ^^ I personally dont really like dramas who doesnt have a happy ending, like couples splitting up or going separate ways, telling each other that one day they will meet again and of course, one of the main character dies (Koizora doesnt count! That one is one of the most amazing movies ever, but i must say i didnt really like the ending. I mean, if the love of my life died, i couldnt survive without him. I couldnt keep on living. I would kill myself, so that part i didnt really like). I'm not gonna spoil anything, but i liked the ending of this one ^.^

You can find it on youtube with english subtitles here:

Part 1.
Part 2.
Part 3.
Part 4.

If there is something you want me review or watch, you can tell me here^^ I cant promise i will watch it, it has to interest me in order for me to actually watch it ^^ Here is all the dramas and animes i've watched (so far). If there is any of those you want me to review, let me know =)

I've also seen TONS of movies, so you can suggest someone there too, maybe i have seen them? ^^ But right now i'm rewatching You're Beautiful, because it's so awesome <3 It's one of my favorite korean dramas and it has my husband, Hongki in it ^.^ And one of my favorite korean actors, Jang Geun Suk ^.^ But i will probably be done with it in two days ^^

Haha, if i really LOVE a drama i can watch it done in one day xD
