Choi Minhee has always been filial, quiet, understanding and selfless, completely content with blending into the background. She's never been too fond of the lime-light and likes keeping things to herself, believing that her own problems are hers and nobody else's. She's timid and soft-spoken, passive too but is not easily tricked or bullied. Minhee has trouble expressing what she feels and is good natured, driven, rational, sweet yet surprisingly observant. She has your typical "damsel in distress" traits but has a heart of gold and an unexpected level-headedness and lack of panic. Despite being intelligent and a conscientious student/writer, she's a hopeless romantic and feels no need to burden her oblivious crush with feelings that she's sure he doesn't reciprocate. history:
Minhee was brought up by her grandparents due to a hit and run accident in Shanghai where he parents lived, working under the Chinese Samsung headquarters. The between her grandparents and herself was quite large so she could never really play with them or talk to them and grew to be a filial, conscientious, conservative child. Since she was quite lonely as a kid, she started writing to express her own emotions better and grew her motherly side because her grandparents were so frail. Writing and reading was an escape for her and sometimes she read family oriented stories just to feel the love of a parent through someone else's eyes. She was never rich and she's timid because her grandparents never really taught her how to be bold.

how you met: they're interning for the same newspaper company where he's kind of a Casanova. He's the guy that girls go secretly crazy about. And again, he's an oblivious idiot to that too.
relationship: He thinks she's a lovely person but a little hard to approach at times due to the fact she kind of pushes him away. He's a foreign exchange student so MInhee makes extra care to tend to his health, secret water bottle placements and has made him a bento lunch once or twice. They have a good relationship but are merely acquaintances. Minhee doesn't dare get close and Kris is too dense to realize.
love interest two: Lay
how you met: He's the new French assistant and he helps her settle into Paris. Kris is there of course but Lay's so sweet he sweeps her off her feet.
relationship: They're good friends but Minhee can't let go of her feelings for Kris. She loves Lay as a bother.
ending: (surprise me: though I would prefer she end up with Kris XD)
