Relatives

Annyeong, everyone~ It's Amanda here again, ready to share little tidbits about my daily life.

It's the 26th today, and my mom decided to bring me to my aunt's house - which has a fantabulous wifi connection, woots - to visit. I gladly follwed her along, and went to pick up my grandmother at my aunt's shop. We went out for lunch after that, at some Japanese shop, and surprisingly, the food there was really good! :D I enjoyed eating there, and I would definitely return for the food there someday. It was a shop called Niko Niko Onigiri, and they're pretty famous for their awesome onigiri and ramen dishes!

The reason why I love visiting my relatives is because I get to practice my Cantonese! I am a pure Cantonese, so I have to pick up the language quick, if I don't want to embarrass myself while conversing with the elders. Glad to say my Cantonese has improved :) Wish I had a Korean friend to speak to so I can improve my Korean as well. I can speak only a little Korean, but watching all those K-Dramas and variety shows have helped as well. Hoping to be able to converse and understand Korean by the middle of 2013, hopefully.

So yeah, I'm in my cousin's room now, alone, because all my cousins are either working, or out dating their girlfriend/boyfriend. Reminds me of how forever alone I am, like a rock :P Barely have any guys liking me as well, hard to say, but I'm not the kind of girl guys would usually go for. A basketball player, after all. Speaking about basketball, there hasn't been any training on recently, which I find frustrating. I usually have to wake up really early to go for training, but they haven't informed me about the next training session yet. But I am a little thankful of being able to catch up with my sleep. I miss shooting them hoops. I'm a great rebounder, if anyone here knows what that means :P I'm pretty tall, so I usually take the center position. I rarely get the any other positions, which I find pretty unfair. But I still love playing in my comfort zone, the center. Can never part with rebounding, it has become my habit.

Thanks to basketball, I have grown pretty tall. I'm now around... 5 feet 6 inches? It's been about two years since I've started playing basketball. Oh, I can still remember how lame I was last time, back in my Form 1 days. I was terrible. Couldn't even dribble right :P Embarrassing indeed. Now, I'm better, but I can still improve. Hopefully.

Okay, enough about basketball! Sorry, I lost track there, I'm pretty enthusiastic when it comes to sports. I bet I pretty much bored you guys to sleep, right :P My most sincere apologies.

Thank goodness for this great wifi connection, now I'm gonna watch some vids, and download plenty of dance tutorials so I can learn their moves <3

Okay, this is the end. Annyeong, lovelies~ <3
