Personality: Hyejeong's personality is a little complicated, with a few wrinkles in it here and there. She can be really shy at times, refusing to talk to anyone but her closest friends, but she can also be the bravest and boldest girl you'll ever see out there. She's a very dependable person, a friend you can count on, and when she says she's got your back, she means it. She takes loyalty to a whole new level. As if it was in a package along with extreme loyalty, Hyejeong is an over-protective person. She can't bear to share her friends with anyone else, unless they've gained her trust. Always known as the "mother hen" among her friends, she's a friend that takes care of you, without thinking about the consequences. She loves shorts, dresses and skirts as much as the next girl, but at times, Hyejeong's self-esteem can hit rock bottom, just because she thinks that she's not good enough for anyone. Because of this, she rarely wears any of these clothes when she goes out, no matter how much they flatter her body. She only wears these clothes when her best friends insist on her to wear them, no matter how much she refuses to.

Just like anyone out there, Hyejeong has a temper that flares unexpectedly if provoked. Watch out, if you irritate her too much, you'll never see the light of the day ever again. Hyejeong is a very athletic person. You can always find her in the nearby dance studio, dancing to her heart's content, or at the basketball court in the park, shooting some hoops. Hyejeong can sometimes be a perfectionist, fussing about trivial matters such as her daily outfits, her mannerisms, the impression she gives to others, and once in a while even when one strand of hair is out of place. She is also quite a prideful person, never wanting to back down in an argument. Most of her friends know that her looks belie her true personality. She may give out a cold, serious, and anti-social aura, but deep down, she's a real sweetheart, a hopeless romantic, daydreamy and friendly person. She loves her family dearly, and would give up her life for them.

Background: Hyejeong was brought up in an average family, always taught to appreciate everything that comes her way, be it an opportunity, or a friend. Riyoung was a childhood friend that was always with her. They grew up together, maturing together, and always shared their problems with each other. Hyejeong loves Riyoung to bits, and would do anythung for her. Riyoung followed Hyejeong where ever she went, from kindergarten all the way to high school. Hyejeong was always the popular one in school. Guys followed her around, waiting on her hand and foot to accept their confessions. To Hyejeong, their confessions were meaningless. They only fell for her looks, not her true personality. She hated those people who judged her based on her looks. It was as if everything revolved around having good looks, nothing more. "What's the use of having good looks when your attitude's terrible?" she used to quote.

Hyejeong is an avid photographer, having been introduced to the camera by her loving brother at the age of ten. At that time, her brother had just got his first camera for his thirteenth birthday, courtesy of their father, and was excitedly checking it out. Hyejeong was aware of her brother's love for the camera, and cautiously appraoched him on his interest. That was where it all started. On her fifteenth birthday, her father bought her a DSLR, a digital single-lens reflect camera, and she absolutely fell in love with it. It was as if the camera was an extension of herself, for she brought it with her wherever she went. With close supervision and tutoring from her brother, she picked up the skills and techniques of photography quickly. From then on, she has been constantly taking pictures of anything deemed interesting in her eyes. 

Although she is completely naive in the subject of love, she has always been dreaming of watching the sunset on the beach with her dream guy, with their fingers intertwined tightly. She has only fallen in love once, with her childhood friend, Taehyun. She, Riyoung and Taehyun used to hang out when they were kids, going on adventures in their house backyards and scavenging for pirates at the neighbourhood lake. She dearly misses him, and wishes to see him again someday.

Dongwoo is a very hyper person, he loves to goof off and laugh. Laughter is the best medicine, he always says. He loves skateboarding and snowboarding. Although he is a rapper, he can really sing and dance. He's also a great beat-boxer, and he usually shows his talents to only his close friends and loved ones. He's a real fan of the colour green, which clearly shows as he has a green bag and a green journal (which he always writes in before he goes to sleep). He always says his lips and eyes are his charm points. He is a very gullible person, always easily falling for pranks and believing what others say. Because he has an honest heart, he can't lie or prank others properly. He's a total sweetheart, and a friendly, sociable person.

Relationship: Hyejeong notices Dongwoo a few days after she enrolled in Dream High because of his gorgeous, heart-warming smile and takes an interest in him, curious about his personality. She watches him out of the corner of her eye, but doesn't make it too obvious that she's attracted to him. Dongwoo, on the other hand, noticed her on the first day she enrolled. He caught sight of her, maybe because there was a whole group of guys tailing her, but maybe it was because she looked like an angel, and he wanted to know what she's all about.

Interaction: When Hyejeong and Dongwoo first meet, Hyejeong's shyness takes over, no matter how friendly Dongwoo is with her. This somehow gives the wrong impression to Dongwoo, he thinks that she isn't interested in him, friendship-wise, and relationship-wise (if there was a possibility). After a while, they got to know each other better, and he slowly falls for her real personality, looking past her beauty and truly appreciating her for who she really is. Dongwoo and Hyejeong become really close friends, and he always comforts her when she feels sad, protecting her from the stalkers in Dream High. Hyejeong falls deeper and deeper in love for Dongwoo's actions towards her, and is always entranced by his smile.

1) Dongwoo and Hyejeong are walking down the beach, the atmosphere between them a little awkward. Suddenly, Dongwoo asks Hyejeong to hold his hand, offering his hand to her, giving her a small, inviting smile. Hyejeong laces her hand in his without a second thought, just happy to be able to hold his hand. With their fingers intertwined, they continued to walk along the beach. After a few moments, Dongwoo shifted his arm so that it was around Hyejeong's shoulder, with his grasp on her hand still tight. Dongwoo bent down to place a chaste kiss on Hyejeong's head and placed his forehead upon hers, gazing lovingly in to her eyes. "I love you, panda," he said, closing his eyes. She simply giggled and poked his cheek playfully.

They settled down on the sand, with Dongwoo insisting that Hyejeong sit on his lap, so that she wouldn't dirty her dress, and they waited for the sun to set as they sat in that comfortable position. Dongwoo wrapped his arms around her waist, nuzzling his nose in to the crook of her neck, causing Hyejeong to giggle softly. He played with a lock of her hair with his fingers as the sun slowly creeped towards the horizon, colouring the sky with a beautiful crimson red hue, tinged with a few streaks of lovely orange. Hyejeong turned around to face the man of her dreams, saying, "I love you too, you dinosaur" as she placed her lips upon his, kissing him sweetly. Dongwoo responded by bringing his hands to the back of her neck, pulling her closer to deepen the kiss. They parted for a second, their breath coming in short gasps. "That was all I needed to hear," Dongwoo said, pulling Hyejeong in for another kiss, this one sweeter than the last.

 

PS. This is how I want things to end between Dongwoo and Hyejeong, but it's alright if you have other ideas in mind :)
