Wonder Girls and their popularity
Well, I'm not trying to offend Wonderfuls, but it's true that WG is now not popular as before. Wonder Girls is now even called "Dead Girls" by K-netizens because no one pays attention to them except Wonderfuls. I know it's quite mean, but if K-netizens start coming up with nicknames like that, it means that the group is now going downhilll.

And I'll be honest, their Korean comback was pretty bad. They always lost to f(x)'s Electric Shock and almost never won any first places. The album sales were also low.

I'm actually counting all the K-netizens, not just a minority. I've seen TONS of comments saying "Dead Girls." So know that this comes from the majority of K-netizens.

WG losing to f(x) wasn't the only reason why I said WG's Korean comeback was pretty bad. The majority of K-netizens didn't show big reaction when they had Korean comebacks. I'm not saying that their Korean comebacks were a total failure. I'm saying that the Korean comebacks didn't get much attention then anticipated.
And think about it, f(x) isn't a high class girl group like SNSD, and yet WG still lost to them. Doesn't it prove enough that WG's popularity isn't the same as before?

And just to let you know, f(x) doesn't even have an official fandom so obviously f(x)'s fancafe members are much more less than those with official fandoms, like Wonderfuls, Sones, and etc.

Winning and Popularity - good songs ?
You should know that winning isn't about the quality of the song anymore. It's about who the idols are. For example, I'm a huge elf, but I admit that Mr.Simple wasn't a song with "quality", and yet SuJu won so many first places because of their name value of "SuJu." And the same goes to all the idols. If you're famous, then you win first places even though your song or whatever.

I don't think that the malicious comments international fans write are worse than the comments K-netizens write. I'd say that they're all equal. For example, both K-netizens and international fans equally call Hyuna "", JYJ "betrayers," and Leeteuk "attention ." Haters exist whether they're international fans or Koreans so we shouldn't judge people based on being Korean or a foreigner.

But yeah international fans should stop thinking that K-netizens are worse than themselves because from what I've seen, they're as bad as K-netizens.

Of course, I'm ONLY talking about the minority "hardcore haters" so I hope people don't get offended.

PSY and his anti-american Issue
I agree that it's not wrong to criticize the American foreign policy, but I think the lyrics "kill the f--ing Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi prisoners, kill those f--king Yankees who ordered them to torture and kill them. Kill their families slowly and painfully" are too much.

Maybe the lyrics could've toned down a bit and it wouldn't have been a problem. I'm Korean and I understand why this song was written, but from the Americans' perspective, it could be seen as way too offensive.

But we have to point out that Psy did NOT write or compose the song. It was Shin Hae Chul who composed the whole song. Shin Hae Chul asked a few singers to feature this song and Psy was just one of them.


Just go on Psy's Youtube videos, Yahoo and facebook pages and you'll see TONS.

And GS is too big to affect him? No ing way. Yes he's a phenomenal, but the way his lyrics criticized the Americans is WAY too much to be covered by his fame. I mean, the lyrics are like "Kill the Yankees' families all slowly and painfully."

The Americans will not say anything if he was only criticizing their horrible actions in the past, but they WILL bash him if he talks about killing their INNOCENT FAMILIES. I'm not saying that he'll lose all of his American fans, I'm saying that his career will still be affected.

Exactly. I'm Korean and all Koreans are doing now is eyeing the Americans' reaction out of this. They even translate comments from Akp and discuss "our" reaction there. They never bring this up and make a huge issue.

Lee Hyori
The truth is extremely nastier than you might think and these international fans see as Hyori the "Queen of K-Pop" so I'll probably end up with only getting tons of thumbs down and lots of hateful comments.

(But if I were to tell you the weakest one, Hyori is known as a HUGE because she sleeps around with lots of men. I can even name several celebrities that slept with her. She's even called a "bus" because everybody "gets" on her. She was even caught having on the street in a Europe country and it really brought shame to Koreans. Remember, her being a is just one of the MANY truth of her. I think I'll end up with hateful comments anyway.

Well I'm only talking about the reality. It's true that Hyori's like that and that she's receiving very negative comments from K-netizens. And yes I DO have proof. Just go on any Korean article website that talks about Lee Hyori and all you'll see is bashing comments about her.
