When she know people the first time , she will act so mature and nice , but when she feel that person was a nice person . She will open herself and being the true joker she is . Ji Min was born iin Seoul , South Korea . She was born with 1 older brother named Kwon Ji Young or known as G Dragon and 1 younger brother named Kwon Ji Seok who was 3 years younger than her . Ji Min likes music since a little . Ji Min's father was CEO on Samsung and her mother was a proffessor in a univeristy . Ji Min was popular enough in her school because her amazing talents and also because her family background that well-known . But Ji Min doesn't like to brag in about her father's company . She still and always think she is average people , same to other people . Ji Min like to play piano since her 7 until now and for guitar she start playing it in her 9 until now . Ji Min likes to play instruments . In 13 , she was choosed to be one of the student who will take part in 'Korea-USA Student Exchange' . She stayed in Los Angeles , USA for 18 months and comeback to Korea in her 14 .

Ji Min then tell to her father that she doesn't like in business world . She said that she will follow her brother's way to be a singer . 3 months after her comeback to Korea , her brother debut in BIG BANG as the leader . Her dream as a singer grow bigger and bigger . Ji Min kknow that her brother start to trained in SM in his 8 until 13 and move to YG . Ji Min said although she impresed with YG , she want to go to SM , since she adore BoA so much . Ji Min tell her father once again about her dream , at first her father deny it and do not agree with it . She try with her mother to make sure that it is her dream , until he agree with it and support her .

The readon why her father deny it was : he want to give her CEO chair to Ji Min , but Ji Min pass it to Ji Seok who was more 'into' business . Ji Min scouted in her 15 , when she was waiting G Dragon in a cafe , she was paying some chords with her guitar and an SM scout hear her singing .
