She was an illegitimate child of Park Jangwoo. She was born to be Park Yoochun and Park Yoohwan's half sister. When her father was in USA, he had an affair with her mother. Her family is one of the richest family in Korea. Her mother died a day after she was born. Their father adopted her and his wife being considerate treated her as their own child. She is 2 years younger than Yoochun and 3 years older than Yoohwan. When she was 7 years old, her parents decided to go to USA to continue their business there. She was home schooled when she was in grade school and studied in Holmes Middle School with Yoochun, she was accelerated for 2 years. Before she reached high school her parents told her the truth. She was deeply saddened but accepted it. Her parents made her see her biological grand parents and knew that her mother's family is rich and well known. She studied high school in Chantilly High School. Her brother was casted by Brothers Entertainment so Yoohwan, Yoochun and her came back to Seoul to live on their own condominium for her brother to be able to train. She continued studying at Seoul School of Performing Arts. She was scouted to be a model but was not allowed by Yoochun and Yoohwan at first. They had a huge fight that she ran away and checked in a hotel for a week until she was located by her father's connections. She was scouted by SM Entertainment when she was 20 while she's with her brothers. Since, Yoochun does want her in SM he persuaded her to join. She auditioned later that week and sang and rap BAP's warrior. She was then accepted.
