He loves joking around with his friends and has his signature yet weird hand gestures. Along with his brother, Dongwoo, they both get scared easily and can't handle haunted houses. He also loves to imitate others and is very competitive, he's very determined to win any competition no matter how silly or stupid it is.

She's only talked to family and very close friends, she always talked to Jin Suk and Dong Woo when all three were alone. His younger brother was the crazy and mischievous one of the family.
Dongwoo and Jin Suk both moved to Seoul with Min Hee, who moved due to a job offer. There, Dong Woo pursued his dancing dream and began auditioning for companies. He convinced Jin Suk to audition with him for Woolim and they both got in. However, Dongwoo debuted in Infinite after only a few years of training while Jin Suk continued the life of a senior trainee. During this time, while the three siblings were going far in life with successful careers, their parents' popular octopus restaurant had suddenly gone bankrupt and was taken away by loan sharks. Their parents are now working to pay off their debt, but they've never told their children.

When Dongwoo debuted, Jin Suk became known as the talented senior trainee. During his trainee period, he appeared as a cameo in a few dramas, movies, and commercials.
