If you feel like you want to write a story, then just go ahead and do so! ~
It's your own decision and it depends on your own feelings. If you think you have a great story and if you feel ready to write, then just write it.
If you're worrying about mistakes... well, everyone makes mistakes, especially as a beginner. so don't worry and just do what you feel like^^

as for me, I love writing and I've always been writing for myself, until one day I thought "well, why not publish it, there might be some people reading and liking it"
