personality:  Known to the be the member with the most energy, Min Kyung is a fun loving individual who has no problem trying new things. He is very impulsive and when a challenge of any kind is put in front of him, he has no problem charging in with all his might. Usually seen smiling, Min Kyung is the member to count on when it comes to talking in front of the camera. He has a natural talent for talking and making conversations flow. Even though he can get overly excited at times when the topic gets good, he usually takes stage as the main MC in the group.

  Min Kyung has no problem being the center of attention and sometimes even craves it. Even though he is aware that each of the members should have equal camera time, he can't help it sometimes. Min Kyung can be quite selfish at times especially when it comes to things he sets his mind to. He is extremely stubborn and it takes a lot for him to budge out his decisions. Even though Min Kyung is very fun loving and adventurous, he's the type to get bored easily. Min Kyung has a bad habit of losing interest in things easily and it takes a lot for his attention to be kept this includes people which makes people label him as a player. It doesn't help that he likes to flirt with individuals who he thinks are attractive.

However when it comes to things that do keep his interest, Min Kyung is extremely passionate. He is extremely loyal to his friends and when it comes to singing, he takes the time to practice everyday even on off days. He will do anything and everything if he falls in love with someone and even turns a blind eye if they manage to hurt him badly making him a hopeless romantic. He will take the time to make sure that the person he falls for fully knows that he likes them. He will have no problem with saying his feelings out loud and will get a tad jealous when someone else approaches his love interest with the same intentions as he does.

Overall Min Kyung is a character who has lots of energy to him even after a hard days of practice who is good friend and has a talkative mouth. He has no problem making a fool of himself for a good laugh and isn't usually the type to lose his temper much. Even if the does, he is pretty tamed with his temper and doesn't take it out on people. background: Min Kyung was born as the 3rd and last child of the Ryu family. As the baby of the family, he was often spoiled by his older siblings and parents. The family started off living in Busan which was the place in which their parents have met and his mother's hometown. However after Min Kyung was born, the family decided the small apartment the were living in wasn't suitable for the family of 5. At the age of 4, Min Kyung's parents finally made enough to move the family to Seoul. Seoul was chosen because Min Kyung's father wanted to be closer to his family. In Incheon, Min Kyung usually stuck close with his parents and siblings.

The family lived a normal life with better income thanks the jobs both of his parents managed to recieve in Seoul. Even though Min Kyung didn't see much of his parents, he was still well taken care of by his siblings and his aunt who babysat most of the time. The family was pretty happy for a long time. However when Min Kyung was 10, his father and his mother started to fight more and more. It was unknown to him at the time, but his mother was cheating on his father with a worker at her job. The fighting started to get stressful and after a year of yelling their brains off at each other, Min Kyung's parents got a divorce.

At 11 years old, Min Kyung was left in the care of his father while his mother moved back to Busan along with his older siblings. Min Kyung was a bit depressed about the whole thing, but with the help of music and his father, he managed to get out of it. He visited his mother and older siblings on vacations. Out of all of his family members, Min Kyung was and still is closest to his father. So when he was 16 and was confused about his attraction to males and females, his father was the first person he went to. His father was extremely shocked by the whole situation, but managed to accept it. He hasn't told his mother, but he has told his older siblings who didn't seem to have any quarrels about. He is currently very scared to tell his mother because he wasn't really that close to her to begin with, but also he heard her rant about homouality being a sin.

school life: Min Kyung had regular schooling was an extremely good student before his parent's divorce. During his depression times, he was a bad student and ranked last in everything because he just didn't see the need to anything anymore. However after the talk with his father and the discovery of music, Min Kyung started doing better in school. He was a pretty average student who excelled in history and he was pretty well liked by his peers especially the ladies when they found out he was in a band. He did get in trouble once in a while because he did ditch sometimes.

music career:  Min Kyung's love for music came about when he was 12. His father was the one who opened his eyes to music after buying his son a guitar and telling him the wonders of expressing emotions through notes. Min Kyung was skeptical about it at first, but when he played, he realized how much better he felt. Even though he didn't really play anything coherent at the time, he loved it.

His father offered him guitar lessons and Min Kyung took it. He took those lessons for 3 years until he turned 15. When he was walking home one day from practice, he managed see Ionic Bonds playing a gig on the streets. Min Kyung was captive with the whole rock scene and begged the members to let him join. The members of Ionic Bonds denied him at first, but when Min Kyung kept appearing every place they would play a gig, they decided to let him join because they needed a new guitarist anyway. He was taken under the wing of the lead vocals who taught him to how to sing and started to play the guitar more and more.

The band was disbanded when he was 17. A few months before the disbanding, the lead vocals quit in which Min Kyung took his place. The band was popular among locals, but with the band members getting older and college getting in the way, the band members decided to stop with their activities. At their last performance, Min Kyung was approached by representative of TS. Min Kyung was wary about the whole idea of being an idol at first, but seeing that he didn't have anything to lose he joined. He stayed at TS for one year before transferring to Stardom.

experience: He has only been in two official relationships, he was in more flings. His first official relationship was with a member of his old band who was really the person that made Min Kyung that he was biual. Their relationship only lasted for a 5 months because that person kept cheating on him with other people and Myungsoo seeing this, made Min Kyung leave him. His second relationship was during with a girl at TS. They're relationship lasted for the year Min Kyung was at TS. The reason they broke up was because Min Kyung was leaving her at TS and she was fell for someone else.
thoughts: Min Kyung is a firm believer of love. He thinks everyone needs love even if it's not a romantic love. He thinks love makes people stronger individuals and want to strive for things harder.
