Background:  Mi Na was born in Seoul, South Korea to two Korean parents as their only child. Her parents weren't the richest folks around and both worked office jobs in the same office, which was the place they first met before dating. Mi Na and her family lived with her aunt and uncle on her father's side of the family, so Mi Na wouldn't be alone for most of the day by herself. There she lived and played with her cousin from a day to day basis under the watchful eye of her aunt. Mi Na loved the family bonding that she could do with her family members even if she only saw her parents mostly at night. She lived this peaceful life until she turned four years old, when her parents, who were tired of their office jobs decided to go on vacation to Japan with Mi Na. 

Her parents fell in love with Japan on their trip and after discussing it for a long time, they decided to move there to start a fresh new life. Even though Mi Na was sad about the fact she would be no longer living with her aunt, uncle and cousin, her parents  promised to let her go back during the summer. With that worry washed away, the family moved to Kobe where her parents, who saved up money for the move, started a Korean restaurant. The Korean restaurant was a big hit with the locals and is still a thriving business for her parents.

Mi Na once in Japan, had a hard time with adjusting to the culture there.  She was unhappy at first, but soon was reassured when she started befriending children' her own age who came to the restaurant with their parents. She started picking up Japanese from them and also was also tutored in Japanese by a teacher their parents hired. She never really lost her Korean because she spoke that with her parents and talked to some  Korean patrons in Korean. When she was old enough, she attended school in the area with her friends and during her summer vacations went back to Korea to visit her cousin.

Mi Na's love for music didn't start until she was 13 years old in which her cousin started introducing her to the music he liked. She was memorized by the whole experience and soon started shifting to music as a huge interest. Her parents were a bit iffy at first when she mentioned that she wanted to take part in music as a future career. Her parents didn't see the appeal for it and there were times in which her parents and Mi Na would argue about it. Music was a bit of a forbidden topic for Mi Na and her family, but that didn't put a damper on Mi Na's dream. Mi Na would practice singing and rapping with her friends by going to karaoke places and started attend dance lessons without her parents knowing. She generally paid for this with her own money.

Mi Na without her parents knowledge at the age of 14, but with the permission of her aunt and uncle, auditioned for various companies during her summers in Korea with the support of her cousin. She tried for 2 years until, finally at the age  of 16, she got accepted into TS. She was happy and worried about the whole deal since she had to break the news to her parents that she wanted to do this. When she returned home that summer, she talked with her parents to let her be part of TS. Thankfully, they said yes to this and soon enough, Mi Na left Japan to go live with her aunt and uncle as she trained. She also switched schools to one in Seoul.  Since then, she juggled school work and training.

Personality: Mi Na  is generally a quiet person when you meet her. She has a calming aura to her that makes people want to know her, but when they realize, she is a girl of little words it makes them slightly uncomfortable. Generally when she talks, Mi Na  likes to get straight to the point rather than going about things in circles. Most people call her blunt for this, but not in a rude way. Mi Na tries very hard to make her words as respectful as possible and generally talks in a very formal way to everyone even babies which a lot of people find weird.

Many people call Mi Na mature, so they tend to go to her for advice. She tries to give advice that has a fair and unbiased opinion to them. She generally is the person to count on to keep a level head even when things are going wrong and because of this some people think she is the true leader of the group. Mi Na honestly dislikes people putting down the real leader of the group because to them Mi Na seems to have more leadership skills, So when opportunities arrive in which she knows the leader can handle, she remains in the background to only assist her. Even though she is helpful to others, when it comes to her own problems, Mi Na hates having people be involved in her own problems. This is only because she rather not bother them with and she rather fix them on her own.

Mi Na is incredibly easy going and is usually  seen going with the flow, but that doesn't mean she does everything she is told. Mi Na  hates doing chores around the dorm, so she often runs away and hides out somewhere before appearing when the dorm is clean. Cleaning is not in her blood, as she puts it. Mi Na  is noted by some members to be a bit odd since she is usually in the background doing things people don't look twice at (she is generally like Daehyun in TA DAH, It's B.A.P) such as playing with items on the walls.

Mi Na doesn't lose her temper much, but when she does, most people cower in fear. This usually happens when someone messes with her members or her loved ones. Other than that, Mi Na  has a fierce competitive streak to her especially when someone directly challenges her. She is a bit prideful during those times and will not back away from the challenge even if things look bleak. One should generally not say 'You can't do this, Mi Na’' because that will trigger this competitive streak and she will not stop until she wins (fairly of course, it goes against her nature to cheat).  She is very determined when she puts her mind on something and will not stop until she is self satisfied with herself.  She is extremely dense when it comes to romantic related things which make people want to slap her from watching and generally brushes off people flirting with her since she doesn't realize they are.

Parents: Pyo Jungmin ; 48 ; father; Owner of Korean Restaurant in Kobe ; silly, easy going, a bit over protective, carefree ;  close. Jungmin tends to cling to his daughter often and cuddle her in his arms while she passively lets him. Sometimes it seems like he is the child and Mi Na is the parent, but usually her mother is there to put an end to that.  They at one point argued about her music career, but now he seems to understand it.

Hwang Haewon ; 48 ; mother; Owner of Korean Restaurant in Kobe with husband; overprotective, a bit of a tsundere, tough, has soft side; fairly close. She was really the main reason, her parents rejected the idea of Mi Na's music interests. Haewon and Mi Na do have a bit of an awkward atmosphere going on, but the two of them do talk. Since Haewon is a tough kind of woman, sometimes her words are rough and hard to decipher, but she clearly cares about her daughter through her actions.

Siblings:

Friends:  Yoo Youngjae; 18 ; BAP ; Intelligent, naggy sometimes, funny, kind ; they met during the set of Starlight Moonlight. The two of them were relaxing and struck up a conversation by chance;  they like to talk about random things and even though he does nag her a lot especially when she gets overly lazy, Youngjae and Mina have a great friendship. She finds Youngjae's nagging to be incredibly amusing.

Song Jieun; 22 ; Secret  ; Motherly, calm, understanding,  hardworking; they met when they were training. Jieun saw Mina struggling with a certain part of a song and decided to lend her a hand. Mina at first didn't like it, but seeing she was genuine about it, let Jieun help her; Mina looks up to Jieun as a role model and someone she can learn a lot from since Jieun was a JYP trainee before becoming part of TS. They have a sisterly bond and Jieun often takes care of her.

Moon Jongup; 17; BAP ;  Shy, gentle, awkward, considerate; she meet Jongup during a training session. The two were partnered up together for a dance practice and seeing that he was shy, she talked to him first; It's rather odd to a lot of people, but Jongup is much less awkward around her than anyone else. The two seem to understand each other very well and when Jongup is too shy to say something, Mina would jump in for him. She treats him as a younger brother and often treats him to food when they meet up.

Best friends: Pyo Jihoon aka P.O ; 19 ; Block B ; Loud, blunt, funny,  odd ; They're cousins and they lived together before  ; P.O and Mina are extremely close to the point that to them, the others actions are never unpredictable. P.O and Mina have a tendency to text and call each other often and when they can like to hang out. They often share everything with each other and when they talk, they often make fun of each other in a playful manner. Mina often calls him Pyoji and he calls her Pyomi

Kim Himchan;  22 ; BAP ; Talkative, a bit childish, enthusiastic, outspoken ;  He was one of the first people she meet when she got into TS and seeing she was quietly by herself, Himchan came up and talked to her; They are very close and Himchan tends to baby her sometimes being a  bit ridiculous by baby talking to her. Mina enjoys Himchan's company since he talks a lot. Sometimes it hard to tell who the older one of the two seems since Himchan will often whine to her and he is the only one who knows where Mina hides when she is trying to get out a chore.

Rivals: . Lee Chaerin ; 21 ; 2NE1 ; Even though they have never meet before, Mina feels a great sense of competitiveness when she sees CL. Mina looks up to CL as an a great singer, rapper and entertainer. Mina strives to become as successful as CL and even though she has no personal grudge to her,  Mina places her as a rival to hopeful become as good, if not better than, but most likely  as good.

Trainee history: She auditioned for TS three times before she finally got in. She started to have doubts when she got in because she was scared she would get kicked out and trained very hard to get where she is now. She befriended many people along the way. She didn't have plastic surgery, but considered it once before. However, her cousin talked her out of it. She also wanted to experiment of what she could do and decided to do the two mv's she was in for fun.

Love interest: Park Kyung ;  20 ; Block B ; A playful type of guy who tends to be extremely greasy with all girls that come his way. He is a flirty and friendly guy who likes to fun and live life to the fullest. He is generally always in a good mood and is the type to hide things under a smile that make people worry about him. He can be actually extremely serious when he wants to be and can lose his temper if you push his buttons too much. He can be a bit random at times, but most people attribute that as him being adorable rather than strange. Even though he is flirty with all girls, when it comes to someone he is really interested in, he will show them attention and will make sure to make them understand that they are the only ones he wants.

How they met: When P.O first got into his company, he actually brought Mina along to show her how the place was. Kyung and Mina meet there, but there was an interaction between them since they were awkward with each other. They did see other a few other times before because of P.O, but generally the two didn't talk since she usually tagged along with P.O. He did flirt with her a couple of times when he saw her, but to his surprise she really didn't react to him at all and only commented that he does look a bit like a cucumber as Jihoon mentioned.

Relationship: They're more acquaintances at the moment since they haven't interacted much, however Kyung does seem interested her romantically even though she's not that sure herself at the moment. They'll probably get closer during the course of the story.

 

Back up love interest: Lee Junghwan (Sandeul) ; 20 ; B1A4 ; An innocent guy who loves to smile and laugh. Sandeul is a very lively guy who has a child like look on life. He is very cheerful and usually there to brighten up people who are around. Despite this, he has a mischievous side to him and can whine.  He likes to talk a lot and make new friends, but is very bad at giving advice. Sometimes he rushes into things too fast and doesn't look at the consequences of his actions, but he takes the time to fix it to the best of his ability. When he puts his mind to it, he is very passionate and stubborn into things he put energy into.

How they met: They haven't meet yet, but they would most likely meet when Pandora debuts since they would probably be around the same time. When Sandeul and Mina meet, he would probably be a bit intimidated at first because of the mature feeling she gives off. They probably won't talk for a while because of this reason and Mina is usually a reserved person anyway.

Questions/comments/concerns: Hmm, I thought of making her a Hera...but she turned out a bit different than I imagined...Oh well. I'm really looking forward to this story and please feel free to change anything you want. Really, I don't mind.
