The long trip to Brooklyn Park

Last Friday night, my mom told everyone that we would all go visit my Uncle in Brooklyn Park. Since we no longer have a car due to family crisis, we took the city bus to Brooklyn Park the very next morning. But first we walked to Lake Street and went to go pick up avocados and tortillas because David was going to make some tacos for my Uncle and Aunt to eat.

So we decided to take pictures while we were in and out of the stores.

Then we stood at the bus stop waiting for the city bus and took more pictures.

Finally we got onto the bus and rode it all the way to downtown and waited for another bus.

And then my sister wanted me to take a heart picture with her so I did. Well that was before she told me that my fingers were weird looking. -____- Thanks Kitana.

So you would think that when taking the second bus to Brooklyn Park would be the last bus, we actually had to go to the Transit Center and wait for another bus. Ugh, God, it was forever! The ride there. Wait but let me tell you this part though, when we arrived to the Brooklyn Park Transit Center, we waited for the third bus, right? When the city bus arrived, everyone began to board and so everyone was so glad that the transfering and walking and running and trying to catch the buses were finally going to be over.

But then David busts out saying that we would have to walk to be able to get to my Uncles house. And we all asked how far and he told us 10 blocks.

10 Blocks.

Great.

So when we got off at the last stop, we were all taking deep breaths to brace ourselves for a long walk. Did I mention that the bus driver was also an ? We began our journey, going...I say..north? And we just kept on walking and walking and walking. Honestly, it wasn't that bad but damn it was FOREVER!

And then when we got to 81st street, we all sighed with relief because my mom told us that my Uncle lived on 81st street. But then my mom told us that we had to turn and walk two blocks and turn left and walk another two blocks and then turn left again.

Seriously?

OTL!

Finally when got to my Uncles house, everyone looked like gorillas walking in mist. LOL. So my mom was the one to lead the way and so she walked up to the opened garage and saw that my Uncle had dogs and new born puppies so she was all like awwing and oohing and aahhing because they were so cute but then the Mom dog started to bark and my mom jumped back. LOL! She ended up saying "OH !" LOL!

Anyway, at the end, we all ate bomb tacos and watched TV and played with our little cousin Tiger. So I guess it was worth it. I mean it has been a year since we've all seen my Uncle so it was nice to see him and my Aunt again.
