When she was in middle school, she was constantly teased for being the teacher's pet since she aced all her exmas. She soon had no friends which led her depression. She wouldnt talk to anyone and ate very little.
When in High school she was really scared that others would so she only got average scores on her exams. One of her friend, Jongup who debuts in BAP, discovered about her past and thus helped her overcome her fear.
