More Tumblr Writing Exercises

So, I had another Tumblr writing prompt. It was fun to write. I don't ship BangDae, but I was surprised how much I enjoyed writing them. I'm definitely turning this into a fic. <3

“Come onnn~! You’ve been single forever! Don’t you think it’s time you met someone new? Youngjae broke up with you so long ago! It’s time to move on. I’m not saying you have to fall in love with the guy, just meet him! Besides it’s only coffee.”

Himchan literally had not stopped talking since he showed up at my apartment this morning. He barged in unannounced and informed me that whether I liked it or not, I had a date. Honestly, even though it was sixth months ago, I was still reeling from my break up with Youngjae. I honestly thought that we would be together forever. I suppose that’s cheesy, but I genuinely felt that way.

“Himchan, please…” I sat on my bed exasperated as the ulzzang male dug through my closets, “Himchan, STOP!” He continued rummaging and threw “options” in my face here and there. “God, DaeDae, I know you’ve been depressed, but you could be bothered to do some laundry, right?” he whined. Eventually, he decided that simple was best. When we left the house, I was wearing a pair of dark-wash jeans, a black v-neck t-shirt, and a fitted blazer. Apparently, my unwashed bed-head was hot. He didn’t like my shoes, so I wore his Converse high tops. “He’s a good guy! A little… rough around the edges, but give him a chance! He’s sweet and funny once you get to know him!” Himchan whispered in my ear, “Besides, he’s really hot.” I smacked him on the forehead, “Himchan, no!” He grinned at me as we left my apartment and he began dragging me through the streets of Seoul.

The cafe was cute; it was decorated like an American diner in the 1960’s—One of the new themed places that were popping up lately. “There he is!” Himchan hissed as quietly as he could, which was still a few levels above a whisper. Even though it was from far away, I had to admit, he was good looking. Well-dressed, nice haircut, good facial features… especially the lips. “Maybe this won’t be so terrible after all,” I mumbled. We maneuvered through the tables to the back corner of the cafe.

“Gukkie?” Himchan called. The purple-haired male looked up and gave my kidnapper a gummy smile. “This is Daehyun!” He excited motioned toward me.” My breath caught in my throat and my back went stiff. I knew this was a bad idea. “DaeDae, this is YongGuk!” I started pulling away. I wanted so badly to escape the situation. YongGuk just cocked an eyebrow at me with that damned smirk on his face. Himchan pulled me into a hug, “Don’t you dare embarrass me in front of my friend. Just get through this one date.” He pushed me down into a chair and exited the restaurant.

For a long time we sat not saying one word. YongGuk broke the silence with his loud laughter, “It’s been a long time, hasnt it?!” I took a sip of my water, ‘Not nearly long enough.” The tall man from my past leaned forward put his face in front of mine. “That wasn’t very nice,” I felt a hand on my thigh, “Don’t be that way,” the hand began inching up, “DaeDae.

I was horrified. I fell to the floor scrambling from my seat. The entire cafe was staring at me as I frantically dodged waiters and busboys, trying to escape. Meanwhile, YongGuk was smiling and waving, “No worries, DaeDae! I’ll see you soon!”
