Well same here. I'm also having hard times writing in third person that I end up writing in first person instead. Well anyways, stories in first person are always good! ^^
No body's really good in third person unless maybe your trying to write ? idk, it's easier to write in first though. But give it a try and you might surprise yourself.My friend is good at writing in third person. :) Good luck.

I'm not that good in third POV too. I prefer first person point of view because it's easier to handle so you're not alone. >.<
Although I love first person POV because they're easier to follow, Heart of Darkness (our summer reading for english) was in first person and I hated that book. =.=
even though I'm not used to writing stories that has long chapters. I think my advice is think what the third POV thinks in that situation. :)) Un lang ang sa tingin ko.
You shouldn't think that way. Keep an optimistic point of view. Sure writing in third person can sometimes be difficult but the challenge is worth it once you have the final product. Just make sure to read over everything you write, sometimes people tend to go back to first person.
The best way to think about it is In third person you are able to express details that you wouldn't be able to do in first person. I'm a detailed person, its like a weird OCD, so that's why writing in third person works best for me but really there's nothing wrong with being able to write in first person and not third person. If it really bothers you then just practice more and read more stories in that format so you can get a better understanding.
You are a great writer and not being able to write in third person shouldn't define your skills as a writer to be a failure. :)
i learned third-pov writing after reading lots of stories from authors who uses that technique to write :) i suggest you start practicing and apply the technique to your stories if you so want to learn. :) try reading other author's works as well, that'll help. anyway fighting!
