About Me
About the Author;
The given name is Jessa Mae Betchaida. Seventeen years young of age. A full blooded Filipino, of course living in the Philippines! :)
Who am I as an author?
Well, I am a self-proclaimed author. :) I am not that popular so does my stories. My story plots were typical. Not that it’s not unique but well yeah, I am just an amateur.
I am an author who fancies fantasy stories. I like having thoughts about supernatural things and I intend to write fantasies.
But before planning on publishing my story, I am trying to study about the reader’s demands. Rarely would like to read some fantasy story. And that, I am greatly discouraged to continue fancying about it.
I am an author who is “reader-biased.” What the reader wants, what the reader gets. That’s my failure in writing.
My duty is to my heart. This is what I want to emphasize as of now for my writing experience. My duty is not to please the readers but to please myself. It’s like writing to what your heart shouts for. It’s a self achievement if you knew you wrote a story because that’s the way you want it to be and not because it’s what the reader wants.
Greatest achievement in writing?
Most authors’ desire is to be famous in the field of writing. I am like that before but then I realized—why do I have to be? It’s like stressing myself to please the people.
It doesn’t matter if there’s only one reading my story. What matters is that, I get to share my hearty hobby to others. A simple “Update soon!” is enough to encourage me continue writing.
