Kai is an aeronautics facility in Korea... Whut?
Me and my student talking about fighter jets and the Korean Air Force:
Me: According to the article we are discussing, the T-50 jets were made by Korea's own technology. That must be something your country is proud about, yes?
Student: Yes. It's a good jet, but it's only capable of light fights. It's useless for wars. Do you know Kai?
Me: *brightening up, eyes shining* Kai?
Student: Yes. K-A-I. Do you know that?
Me: *scoffs and chuckles* Are you being silly? Of course I know him.
Student: *confused* Teacher...uh...why did you say 'HIM'?
Me: *frowns* Isn't he a guy? *confused* He's actually a member of that Korean boyband called EXO-K. He's such a good dancer~ *EXO feels~*
Student: *laughs* No. I'm not talking about Kai as in the person. I was talking about the Korea Aerospace Industries. K.A.I. The agency that developed the T-50 jets.
Me: *mental slap* Oh~! That KAI...
Okay...I get it! Apparently, Kai isn't always what it/he seems...hahaha~ Can't believe there was such a thing to Koreans...I gotta cool off with my fangirling...
