What happens when you start to believe that you're not pretty? When the world says you are thin and you look in the mirror and see fat. What happens when we open up a magazine and see men and women portrayed what is ideal and flawless?

When will we realise that our perception on beauty is so skewered?

In the whole wide world the person whose lies we believe is the lies we tell ourselves. The media gives us an image we think we have to live up to and instead of taking it with a pinch of salt or ignoring it we buy into a lie that we have to be more beautiful than we already are. That we have to be skinny, have tanned or fair skin, be a certain height and weight just so that we may feel good about ourselves.

Even if we aren't looking at advertisements us girls still compare ourselves to our best friend, our cousins, sisters, brothers girlfriend. To us they're beautiful but we don't believe it for ourself.

But what if real beauty has no distinct form or shape? What if the beauty we've been trying to crave and seek is already residing within our very core?

Girls this is the truth. We're all beautiful, whether we're from Korea, France anywhere in the world there's beauty within us. No  one looks like you do not even twins are exactly identical. No one has  your eyes, your smile, your legs or your figure. Real beauty is knowing that we are unique and valuable. Even when our outward beauty fades we still have the beautiful personality that the trials of life have shaped and crafted.

Even when people have plastic surgery it can only change so much but for those who can't afford it then don't worry.

Maybe we all need to learn to stand in front of the mirror and say, "I am beautiful," at least ten times a day until it soaks in that we are actually beautiful. It's times to craft a new mindset and not a negative one or a prideful one.
