A girl who never really hides anything. She's pretty much frank with everyone but her frankness depends on the situation. She dislikes it when people backstab and despite being the youngest, she'd confront those backstabbing people immediately. Other than that, she's pretty much friendly with everyone and she thinks maturely for her age. Though, from time to time she tends to act like a kid.
People think her aegyo is so adorable but even she doesn't know that. She's hardworking but when her friends are in trouble, she'll immediately come to the rescue. She's a real teamplayer and gets along with everyone. She's really sweet especially to kids since she always has a soft spot for them.
To her, romance is not of an importance at the moment but she is totally crushing on Sehun from EXO-M. She'll act like a total meanie (teasing Sehun from time to time) around him but she actually just wants to get the atttention of the other. back ground :
She was born in an average family. Being the youngest in the family of three, she was pretty much used to the attention her uncles and aunt would give her. When she first danced, she started having an interest in it and before she knew it, she's been dancing all day long. Her vocal talent was soon discovered after they had a musical in their school.
One day, one of her sister persuaded her in going to an SM audition near their place. She was hesitant at first but she had no choice since her sister had already submitted the application form. That day, SM approved of her and offered her to become a trainee under their agency.
She didn't want to train at first so she politely declined the offer. When she got home, her parents found out the news of her getting into SM Entertainment and congratulated her. That same night, she told them that she declined the offer of the polite sir. A week after, she met a boy named Oh Sehun at a dance studio she frequently goes. She learned that the boy was apparently an SM trainee. Amazed by the determination in the boy's eyes when he danced, she finally decided to accept the offer by SM Entertainment.

how you interact : Jinri would always tease Sehun the moments she first sees him. They would always tease each other on their clothes, food, or just plainly everything. They would always text each other at night, telling each other everything that happened to them on that day and when Sehun would be sleeping, he would always call Jinri just to say "goodnight" because he likes it that way. When she first came into SM Entertainment, she didn't know anyone except Sehun. Sehun though, introduced his friends (EXO) to her. D.O was actually the first trainee she met who even offered to give her a tour of the company. He even told him the best places to eat near the building. After three months, she finally coped with the whole trainee thing.
She is known in the company for her determination and hardwork. She would even go home at around 1am in the morning just to perfect a routine.
She was also known for being a "triple threat" during her trainee times because she can sing, dance and even rap. Even Yunho from TVXQ and BoA was amazed by her skill and energy. Because of this, BoA announced that Jinri is to become a back-up dancer in her concert. This also caught the attention of Lee Sooman so he told her to be a back-up dancer for SNSD's concert that same year.
On her 2nd year of training, she was seen by Block B's manager and offered her a job to become an extra in Block B's music video "Tell Them."
On her remaining years as a trainee, she was able to prove her skills and improved a lot in the field of singing, dancing and rapping.
