HyunJung is a bubbly, lovable and hyper girl. Always friendly and helpful, she has the aura which makes people around her to always feel happy. She always has that sweet smile hung on her face. She is always hyper and always lifts the mood of her surroundings, so, with her presence, there will never be a moment when the mood is damp. She is also the joker among her friends, she loves to joke around. She does not like awkward atmospheres so she would always try to think of many silly ideas to make people smile and laugh. She loves to make people laugh as she herself will feel happy too when she sees people laugh at her silly antics. She thinks that everyone is beautiful when they smile. She always takes the initiative to talk to others instead of waiting for the others to start a conversation with her. She is always sociable and friendly, someone whom has a jovial character; who smiles always despite her problems; and someone whom people like to hang out with.

Behind the smiling mask, HyunJung has little confidence of herself. She always thinks that there are way a lot of people who is better than her in many ways and she thinks that she cannot do well in anything. Even when her brother praised her, she thinks that he was just comforting her and giving her encouragement. However, she was proven wrong when she got accepted as a trainee. People praises her for her great vocal skills and that she is a fast learner. She is praised on many things she does. She always had a secret dream of becoming a successful singer. Due to her low confidence of herself, she dare not go for any auditions to achieve her dream. She is afraid that she might screw up her performances.

Even though, on the surface, HyunJung seems to have many friends, not many seem to understand her well. They seem to have only befriended her because she is popular with people. Sometimes, when she is sad and when she has problems, no one will be there for her. She had always wanted a really nice best friend who will truly care for her and protect her; someone who will put her as their priority; and will always be there for her.   

HyunJung does not like arguments and will always avoid getting into one. She will always be the one to apologise even though it might not be her fault to avoid further arguments. She sometimes takes the blame for others, so people will mistake her as the culprit when actually it is someone else. For example, when ChanYeol went for SM audition in 2008, he did not tell his father until he found out himself. When HyunJung knew about this matter, she was afraid that her brother would get punished severely, so she told her father that she was the one who signed him up for the audition and dragged him to SM for it. HyunJung was then reprimanded harshly by her father for her immaturity and she was grounded for a week. She knew about her brother's dream of becoming a singer and she, herself also had a dream like him, she wanted him to achieve his dream that is why she took the blame for him. She rarely gets angry. However, HyunJung will be rude if others treat her the same way. She feels that she does not deserve to be treated that way if she did not do anything that offended them. She will stand up for herself and do what is right. She does what is right rather than what is popular with the others.

With a straight-forward character, there are also people who do not like her. She feels that no one needs to hide what they really feel as she believes that everyone is unique and should be who they really are. However, she cannot deny that sometimes, some truth should really be left untold, in order to not hurt others' feelings.

HyunJung is kind and forgiving. She will not take things to heart and she will forgive and forget people's mistake easily, even if she might not like their actions. She does not hate, she just dislike how people always treat her badly just because she is straight-forward. She will try her best to help when others need it. She does not hesitate to give advice to others when they have a problem, so people likes to go to her when they need some good words of advice. You can say that she is a really reliable person when it comes to keeping secrets. Due to these, She gained herself quite a number of friends. Sometimes she wonders why people in this world are being so judgemental. She feels that one should not judge a book by its cover. She feels that one should not judge a book by its cover.

background/history: 

HyunJung was born on the 6th of November in 1994, with two older brother, Park ChanYeol and Park ChanWoo. All of them are November babies with ChanYeol born on the 27th of November 1992, and WooJin on the 18th of November 1993. Although their parents were not by their side every single day just like other parents would do due to their work, the siblings were contented with what they have. They were happy that they are healthy and living together even though most of the times there were only three of them. They had no worries as long as they are together. Her brothers then left her one after another -- ChanYeol joined SM Entertainment in 2008 and ChanWoo went to further his studies in UK in the midst of 2009. HyunJung's parents are always busy working and have no time for her, even if they are at home, all they would talk about is her studies, their work, and how they are sorry that they could not fork out time for the siblings. After her brothers left, she lives alone in a big house and she sometimes feels lonely.

Since young, HyunJung has been traveling a lot. She likes to go to the airport when she has free time as she can find many different kinds of people there; people of different nationalities, races and ages. One of the things she likes to do is observe people. She finds it interesting when observing people. From their appearance, to their actions, she is amused by all different kinds of people she can find there. Sometimes, she will also try to guess what those people are thinking. HyunJung also thinks that airport is a good place to capture nice photographs. People's tears of sadness due to separation and tears of joy due to reunions are worth for good photos. HyunJung writes songs as her hobby. She enjoys writing songs as she can express herself freely in there. She usually writes about her own experiences and feelings about her surroundings. She is also active in sports. These are some activities she does to relief her stress.

When HyunJung was young, she used to listen to mostly English songs. But when she randomly flipped the Television one day and came upon K-POP, she got hooked up by the catchy rhythms and lyrics. At that time, she took notice of 2 successful artists, the Kings of K-POP, Super Junior, and Queen of K-POP, BoA. She felt that her chances of achieving her dream increased as K-POP is slowly getting known to people from all over the world. Her hopes of getting into the singing industry got higher and she started to prepare herself --- practise her singing in front of her mirror everyday and try to sing in front of others. But, she slowly forgot her dream when her studies became her priority. One night, when HyunJung was listening to BoA's 'Hope' playing on her Ipod while doing her homework, she suddenly remembered her dream that only she, herself knows, not even her brothers. She saw an SM Audition poster posted on a bulletin board at a bus-stop near her house that afternoon when she came home from school. She wanted to go for the audition, that was on for the past two days. However, she also wanted to get her scholarship to study overseas. As the next day will be the last day of audition, she could not sleep the whole night. Her mind was battling with her heart, weighing the pros and cons. Finally, her heart won, and she decided that she will go for the audition.

She met KyuHyun and BoA the day she went for the second round of audition. They were near the audition room that day after their lunch and they were awed by HyunJung's vocal skills. They approached her and wished her luck when she was waiting for the results. Since they were free for that afternoon, they accompanied HyunJung through the waiting and she gained some tips from them on how to become a great and successful singer. HyunJung was then announced that she was accepted as a trainee in S.M Entertainment and she thanked the two singers for their support. BoA, being a friendly lady she is, suggested for them to exchange numbers. Since then, they always contact each other through the phone and once in a while, they will meet up for meals. They got really close and became best of friends. She also became friends with other idol singers such as TaeYeon of SNSD and KyuHyun's fellow groupmate, EunHyuk through KyuHyun and BoA during times when they tagged along for meals. She is thankful to have met them as they helped her to overcome her stress and difficult period of her trainee life. KyuHyun treats HyunJung really nicely and he also taught HyunJung some of his plans to prank. Sometimes, they would prank the Super Junior members together so they are called the "partners-in-crime" by their members. BoA is just like her sister who takes good care of her and HyunJung likes to talk to her about her problems.

how you joined sm entertainment: HyunJung disliked going home and she hopes that time can be rewinded so that she can spend happy times with her brothers just like before. To fulfil her secret dream of becoming a singer, and probably a chance to get out of her lonely home, she tried her luck by auditioning. HyunJung chose Christina Aguilera's "Hurt" for her audition. HyunJung sang with all her heart and the judges can feel the sadness in the lyrics of the song in her voice as she sang as if she was the heartbroken one in the song. She touched the judges' heart with her great vocal skills and the feelings she had put into the song, thus it was then decided that she had passed the audition. She promised herself to work hard for her debut. She aspires to be like BoA, a charismatic singer. She felt lucky and relieved that she was accepted into the company due to the fact that she does not have to face her empty and lonely home everyday.

trainee history: HyunJung did have many friends during her trainee period, but she is, most of the time, alone. She always take the initiative to talk to others instead of waiting for the others started a conversation with her. However, due to her straight-forward attitude, other trainees think that she is rude so she does not have many trainee friends. Despite not having many trainee friends, she will try her best to help when others need it. She does not hesitate to give advice to others when they have a problem, so other trainees will sometimes go to her when they need some good words of advice. She will randomly say out her fellow trainees' mistake straight-forwardly during their vocal training when they are having a break. She would help to correct their mistakes. She became closer to quite a number of the trainees due to that, however, there are still some trainees who do not like to listen to her advice and they think that she is too proud of herself when she corrected their mistakes. She was really focused during her trainee period and was always working very hard. HyunJung was a trainee under SM Entertainment for about three years and a half years before the company decides to let her debut in a girl group.

However, due to her busy schedule, she tends to forget that she has two children to take care of. HyunJung always count and take note of the number of day that she did not see her mother at home and her record of not seeing her mother was about a month and a half!

He is one who believes in physical punishment. Everytime when HyunJung or her brother made a mistake, he would cane them. Even so, Mr Park is a caring father. He knows what their children want and would try to do anything to satisfy their needs. When he found out that HyunJung went for the SM audition, he reprimanded her and wanted her to withdraw from the audition. However, after seeing his daughter's persistence towards what she wants to do, he decided to let her go for it.

Despite that, he still cares for them a lot and that is what HyunJung likes about her brother, always so protective and thoughtful. He likes to play instrument and he can play the guitar, drum, bass and djembe, he can beatbox too. He then joined SM Entertainment in 2008.

Park ChanWoo | 19 | Second Brother | ChanWoo | Medical Student at UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE in the United Kingdom | Loving, smart, out-going and cheerful | ChanWoo is easy to get along with and he has many friends. He takes care of his sister really well and is also her role-model. He is the only one that HyunJung likes to talk to. ChanWoo is the smartest amongst the three. As they are really close, when ChanWoo told HyunJung that he decided to go overseas to further his studies, HyunJung got really upset. ChanWoo felt really guilty for leaving his sister and the thought of giving up on the scholarship ever crossed his mind. However, after a long debate with himself and after his sister convinced him that she is okay with him leaving, he decided to continue his studies at the University of Cambridge in UK.

He is HyunJung's first friend in the company. He treats HyunJung like his own sister. Living up to his title, the "Evil-Maknae" of Super Junior, he likes to play pranks on others. He enjoys annoying the hell out of HyunJung. HyunJung also learnt to prank on people that she is close with, like her members, friends and the Super Junior members from the "Evil-Maknae" himself. Although KyuHyun is "Evil", he is really caring towards others, especially his Super Junior hyungs and HyunJung.

Kwon BoA || 26 || Idol Singer, Solo Artist || Sweet, caring, funny and lovable girl || She is a really caring Unnie to HyunJung. She is also HyunJung's first friend in the company, together with KyuHyun. HyunJung loves to talk to her and she will always be there for HyunJung when she has a problem. Sometimes she helps HyunJung to solve her problem. She treats HyunJung like her little sister.

HyunJung met DongHae through KyuHyun when he brought her along for their celebratory dinner after the release of their new album "Mr. Simple" last year. She also met the other members at the dinner. During one time when HyunJung was practising till late in the practice room because she could not get the steps right, DongHae walked past the practice room and was curious why there is still someone practising at that time of the day, so he went in and noticed HyunJung's frustration. DongHae corrected her foot work then, and HyunJung was thankful towards him and said that she owed him for that. They exchanged numbers and after that incident, they became closer to each other.
