She is pretty shy on stage, but once the mood is set, she can be as crazy as she can be. She likes to be herself and not faking herself to be others, so she is no different both on and off-stage. She likes to joke make her members and fans laugh with her. Sometimes, she would also prank the members on-stage. All the jokings aside, HyunJung has a powerful vocal which awe many and probably a threat to the other vocalist out there. 

Off-Stage

HyunJung is a bubbly, lovable and hyper girl. Always friendly and helpful, she has the aura which makes people around her to always feel happy. She always has that sweet smile hung on her face. She is always hyper and always lifts the mood of her surroundings, so, with her presence, there will never be a moment when the mood is damp. She is also the joker among her friends, she loves to joke around. She does not like awkward atmospheres so she would always try to think of many silly ideas to make people smile and laugh. She loves to make people laugh as she herself will feel happy too when she sees people laugh at her silly antics. She thinks that everyone is beautiful when they smile. She always takes the initiative to talk to others instead of waiting for the others to start a conversation with her. 

Behind the smiling mask, HyunJung has little confidence of herself. She always thinks that there are way a lot of people who is better than her in many ways and she thinks that she cannot do well in anything. Even when her brother praised her, she thinks that he was just comforting her and giving her encouragement. However, she was proven wrong when she got accepted as a trainee. People praises her for her great vocal skills and that she is a fast learner. She is praised on many things she does. She always had a secret dream of becoming a successful singer. Due to her low confidence of herself, she dare not go for any auditions to achieve her dream. She is afraid that she might screw up her performances.

Even though, on the surface, HyunJung seems to have many friends, not many seem to understand her well. They seem to have only befriended her because she is popular with people. Sometimes, when she is sad and when she has problems, no one will be there for her. She had always wanted a really nice best friend who will truly care for her and protect her; someone who will put her as their priority; and will always be there for her.   

HyunJung does not like arguments and will always avoid getting into one. She will always be the one to apologise even though it might not be her fault to avoid further arguments. She sometimes takes the blame for others, so people will mistake her as the culprit when actually it is someone else. For example, when ChanJae went for SM audition in 2008 on his own accord, he did not tell his father until he found out himself. When HyunJung knew about this matter, she was afraid that her brother would get punished severely, so she told her father that she was the one who signed him up for the audition and dragged him to SM for it. HyunJung was then reprimanded harshly by her father for her immaturity and she was grounded for a week. She knew about her brother's dream of becoming a singer and she, herself also had a dream like him, she wanted him to achieve his dream that is why she took the blame for him. She rarely gets angry. However, HyunJung will be rude if others treat her the same way. She feels that she does not deserve to be treated that way if she did not do anything that offended them. She will stand up for herself and do what is right. She does what is right rather than what is popular with the others. With a straight-forward character, there are also people who do not like her. She feels that no one needs to hide what they really feel as she believes that everyone is unique and should be who they really are. However, she cannot deny that sometimes, some truth should really be left untold, in order to not hurt others' feelings.

HyunJung is kind and forgiving. She will not take things to heart and she will forgive and forget people's mistake easily, even if she might not like their actions. She does not hate, she just dislike how people always treat her badly just because she is straight-forward. She will try her best to help when others need it. She does not hesitate to give advice to others when they have a problem, so people likes to go to her when they need some good words of advice. Oldest Brother- Park ChanJae | 22 | Trainee at SM Entertainment | The Protective Brother | He is bright and positive, always caring and loving. ChanJae takes care of his two younger siblings well and is a little jealous that the both of them have a closer relationship. Despite that, he still cares for them a lot and that is what HyunJung likes about her brother, always so protective and thoughtful. He likes to play instrument and he can play the guitar, drum and bass, he can beatbox too. He then joined SM Entertainment in 2008.

Second Brother- Park ChanWoo | 21 | Medical Student at UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE in the United Kingdom | The Smartass Brother | He is loving, smart, out-going and cheerful. ChanWoo is easy to get along with and he has many friends. He takes care of his sister really well and is also her role-model. He is the only one that HyunJung likes to talk to. ChanWoo is the smartest amongst the three. As they are really close, when ChanWoo told HyunJung that he decided to go overseas to further his studies, HyunJung got really upset. ChanWoo felt really guilty for leaving his sister and the thought of giving up on the scholarship ever crossed his mind. However, after a long debate with himself and after his sister convinced him that she is okay with him leaving, he decided to continue his studies at the University of Cambridge in UK.

She is the second girl-friend that HyunJung befriended after she joined the company. Due to TaeYeon's friendliness, HyunJung did not think twice and made friends with her when she approached HyunJung to praise her for her great voice when they first met at the training room. TaeYeon does not treat HyunJung only as a trainee, she treats her sincerely as a friend, always there for her and looking out for her.

He is like another older brother to HyunJung and he gives HyunJung good advices. He is a moodmaker and HyunJung likes to be around him. He sometimes tell jokes to her to make her laugh when he knows she is upset. He also acts like a father to HyunJung and sometimes gets protective of her.

Best friends : Lee DongHae | 26 | Idol-Singer, Member of Super Junior | Fish-like Prince | He is humorous, caring, dorky, reliable, kind and easy to get along with. He is sweet and caring towards others. He is HyunJung's first friend in the company. He treats HyunJung like his own sister and he is like another older brother to HyunJung who gives HyunJung good advices. He is protective over HyunJung. She is also HyunJung's first friend in the company, together with DongHae. HyunJung loves to talk to her and she will always be there for HyunJung when she has a problem. Sometimes she helps HyunJung to solve her problem and they love to go for Ice-cream or Coffee together, sometimes with DongHae, TaeYeon and EunHyuk. She treats HyunJung like her little sister.

They got to meet each other because of that. | Victoria is a really beautiful girl and HyunJung always felt inferior whenever she is with her. She is KyuHyun's girlfriend but she broke up with him due to her personal reason which no one knew. ​How Do You Get Into SM ?: HyunJung disliked going home and she hopes that time can be rewinded so that she can spend happy times with her brothers just like before. To fulfil her secret dream of becoming a singer, and probably a chance to get out of her lonely home, she tried her luck by auditioning. HyunJung chose Christina Aguilera's "Hurt" for her audition. HyunJung sang with all her heart and the judges can feel the sadness in the lyrics of the song in her voice as she sang as if she was the heartbroken one in the song. She touched the judges' heart with her great vocal skills and the feelings she had put into the song, thus it was then decided that she had passed the audition. She promised herself to work hard for her debut. She aspires to be like BoA, a charismatic singer. She felt lucky and relieved that she was accepted into the company due to the fact that she does not have to face her empty and lonely home everyday.

Trainee Life : HyunJung did have many friends during her trainee period, but she is, most of the time, alone. She always take the initiative to talk to others instead of waiting for the others started a conversation with her. However, due to her straight-forward attitude, other trainees think that she is rude so she does not have many trainee friends. Despite not having many trainee friends, she will try her best to help when others need it. She does not hesitate to give advice to others when they have a problem, so other trainees will sometimes go to her when they need some good words of advice. She will randomly say out her fellow trainees' mistake straight-forwardly during their vocal training when they are having a break. She would help to correct their mistakes. She became closer to quite a number of the trainees due to that, however, there are still some trainees who do not like to listen to her advice and they think that she is too proud of herself when she corrected their mistakes. She was really focused during her trainee period and was always working very hard. She had been F(x)'s back up dancer during the second and third year of her trainee life and also SNSD's sub-unit, TaeTiSeo's back up dancer for their "Twinkle" performances last year. HyunJung was a trainee under SM Entertainment for about four years and a half  before the company decides to let her debut in a girl group.

Relationship : They started as friends at first but HyunJung slowly developed feelings for KyuHyun. She thought it was only a one-sided love by her. After KyuHyun broke up with Victoria, he felt the same way towards HyunJung, considering that she would always make him smile and comfort him, treating him really nicely. Thus you can say that they have a mutual feeling for each other.

How you met : HyunJung met KyuHyun through DongHae when he brought her along for their celebratory dinner after the release of their new album "Mr. Simple" last year. She also met the other members at the dinner. During one time when HyunJung was practising till late in the practice room because she could not get the steps right, KyuHyun walked past the practice room and was curious why there was still someone practising at that time of the day, so he went in and noticed HyunJung's frustration. KyuHyun, being a not-so-bad dancer himself, he corrected her foot work then, and HyunJung was thankful towards him and said that she owed him for that. They exchanged numbers and after that incident, they became closer to each other. She then also learnt to prank on people that she is close with, like her members, friends and the Super Junior members from the "Evil-Maknae" himself. Relationship : HyunJung is always happy around him. She always feels estatic when DongHae talks to her. DongHae is a really nice and gentlemen-like man who treats everyone well. Although he is already 26, he is still young at heart and he is always playful and adorable. HyunJung likes him because he treats her really well and he is a fun-loving and easy to get along with. HyunJung feels that he can work really hard and play really hard, he knows when to get serious and when to let his hair down. DongHae treats his Super Junior members like family and he also treats other people well, even those he is not close to. HyunJung admires his big heart. He is soft-hearted and also cries easily making HyunJung wants to hug him and comfort him each time he cries. He is also adorable like a four-year-old kid and that is what made HyunJung crazy over him. At first, DongHae only treated HyunJung like a dongsaeng and junior and nothing more. After he got to know more about HyunJung through their meals, he started to get more comfortable around HyunJung and then became one of her really close friends. He treats HyunJung really nicely and will always be there for her when she needs a shoulder to lean on. When he was still together with Victoria, he could not get too close with HyunJung as he was afraid that Victoria will misunderstand them. Thus he has a barrier around him and he did not get really attached to HyunJung before Victoria and him broke up. 

How You Met : She met DongHae and BoA the day she went for the second round of audition. They were near the audition room that day after their lunch and they were awed by HyunJung's vocal skills. They approached her and wished her luck when she was waiting for the results. Since they were free for that afternoon, they accompanied HyunJung through the waiting and she gained some tips from them on how to become a great and successful singer. HyunJung was then announced that she was accepted as a trainee in S.M Entertainment and she thanked the two singers for their support. BoA, being a friendly lady she is, suggested for them to exchange numbers. Since then, they always contact each other through the phone and once in a while, they will meet up for meals. They got really close and became best of friends. She also became friends with other idol singers such as TaeYeon of SNSD and DongHae's fellow groupmate, EunHyuk and KyuHyun through DongHae and BoA during times when they tagged along for meals. She is thankful to have met them as they helped her to overcome her stress and difficult period of her trainee life. DongHae treats HyunJung really nicely and they would act like babies/small kid, or do aegyo together in front of their members to get what they want.
