A Smile.

A simple word, but with a huge meaning.

You might not think about it, it's something we all do everyday.

It's natural, you show it when you are happy.

So I guess people don't really take much notice of it, because its so common.

But... its value is something that is priceless.

You might have some friends. The kind that stick to you. The ones who offer to you first, before you offer to them. Who try to do things in your favor to make you happy, because they want to make sure you like them. Maybe because you are the colder one to them, so they tend to show more flexibility to you.

Or maybe you are the one who likes to stick to your friends and start conversations first.

Yeah. Maybe... your friends can be annoying. Seeing a smile everyday, you think sometimes that you want them to leave you alone for a bit.

But it's only when they don't smile anymore, when you really feel it.

You don't discuss stuff like this, because it's always them giving to you. Or, you dont' discuss stuff like this, because they don't open up to you.

EIther way, when you see a friend who's smile surrounds you everyday, suddenly turn into a frown. You'll truly realise how valuable a smile really is.

You feel useless and you regret not treasuring their smile when you could. Now you  find ways to make them smile again, because you sort of realise that their smile is something that you like tos ee everyday. Even if they stick to you and annoy you, their smily and warm heart is what they are truly trying to put out there.

So next time you see something smile, just treasure it for a bit and give them a smile back.
