Personality: Jin could seem a hard-to-approach girl at the first sight,but she's really nice.Friendly and fun-to-be-around,she would try to pull off 
a cool image at first,but she would obviously fail and then you'd see her true side—the clumsy,random and amusing Hyejin.She's pretty much the gagman of the group everytime you hang out with her,and she won't hesitate to make everyone around her laugh,sometimes even when it wasn't her intention.Jin enjoyes the attention and adores being in the spotlight.
Outgoing and being the type of speak-before-you-think person,she never hesitates to get herself and her friends in trouble because of her big mouth and her actions.She's not a scaredy cat or however you'd call it.On the contrary,she's a brave and quirky,stubborn girl.She takes everything for granted and wouldn't obey if she doesn't feel like it,which would often get her into punishments and such.She especially dislikes being told what to do,which could lead her to disrespecting her unnies,or even her teachers and instructors.Hell breaks loose when people are treating her like a child.She doesn't like it.

Family Background: Hyejin was born in Seattle,U.S.,being the only child in her family.She's the daughter of Yang Soojin,her nagging and overly-caring mother,and Yang Chojin,her outgoing and bright father.Even though she didn't have any siblings,she had a very good bond with her parents and was especially close to her cousin,Jay Park.Hyejin lived in the U.S. until she was around 11,and later moved on to South Korea.It was hard for her to make suge a huge hop from the western culture to korean culture,but she eventually got used to it.Her korean is fluent,yet she still has a habit of throwing random english in her sentences.One day,she got scouted by YG while she was performing in a park with her dance crew.However,this didn't damage her relationship with her family and they fully supported her into becoming an idol.
