Dreams and Nightmares

Question(s) to people who sleep:

Do you remember your dreams? If so, do you remember them vaguely, barely at all, or in vivid detail?

Or do you forget your dreams, whether it's right after you wake up, or during the day?

The same question for nightmares: Do you remember them, and if so, how well can you recall them? Or do you forget your nightmares?

In my case, I can't remember dreams. Maybe I can slightly recall one or two of them vaguely, but other than that, I can't remember them very well. For nightmares, I can remember more of them than dreams, but still not many. Nightmares tend to have a bigger effect on people since you are more alert in nightmares. I'm the kind of person who forgets these things quickly. I wake up, replay all the events in my mind (the only time when I can recall anything about my dreams are when I first wake up), and then I quickly forget it all without knowing.

Of course, most people forget dreams. It's normal. But a small percentage of people can remember, like my sister. She remembers almost all of her dreams and nightmares. She's always telling me about them. She doesn't remember them in vivid detail, but it's pretty close. I was wondering if you guys are like this, too?

If none of this applies to you, perhaps you're the type of person that doesn't dream?

Nowadays, I don't have dreams, nor nightmares. I haven't had one in a while. I would fall asleep after endless attempts, but then I would wake up after what seems like only an hour, only to find that it's already morning. And nothing happened. I didn't have a single dream.

Are you this kind of person? Or maybe you're like me, where you have a mix of everything?

Here's another question: How realistic are your dreams and nightmares? When I do have them, my dreams and nightmares are REALLY realistic. Everything that happens is so creepily real, and it could all happen in real life. By realistic, I don't mean that it feels like it's really happening, I mean that it's actually possible.

For example, my sister had a dream about reading a cursed book in a voodoo shop, and then getting into the book. She becomes a flying pig, but then all of a sudden she's in a car, as a human, and she didn't know if she teleported or if she was in two places at the same time, but all of a sudden she's the flying pig again and she gets shot by a farmer...

XD That's an unrealistic dream, in case you didn't figure that out.

Oh, and one more thing. Have you ever experienced sleep paralysis? How did the process go? I mean, I've had sleep paralysis before, so obviously I know what the experience is like, but it's often different for everyone.

LOL, sorry for randomness. I'm bored and this came to mind. ^^

I remember them, but sometimes if I'm dreaming about a person, I can see every detail but their face. It feels as if there's a curtain covering it to prevent me from seeing them.
