Occupation: Jung Hyunjae’s best friend.

1:40 a.m.

It was quiet. Too quiet. The members of the rising boy group, Beast, were all in bed, pondering over the fact that their dorm was completely silent. Time seemed to have stilled and sound was silenced. Yoseob was the first one to move. He turned to his side and looked at Doojoon who was staring up at the ceiling, his brows furrowed.

“Hyung, is it just me or is something really wrong going on here?”

Doojoon shifted in bed and turned to face the orange haired boy, coming to face with the baby face that fangirls would die for. He nodded into the night, unsure if Yoseob saw him.

“It’s really too quiet, right hyung?” Yoseob questioned, his tone skeptical. “Something’s not right.”

Doojoon got up into a sitting position, feeling slightly fatigue from his intense schedule. He knew that he should be sleeping at the moment in order to be energized enough for later in the day. But something was just not right.

“Let’s go.” Was all that was said before the two came to face Gikwang and Dongwoon in the hallway.

“Something’s not right.” Gikwang gave the other two a concerned glance before head down the hall.

“You guys feel it too?!”

Dongwoon nodded at his orange-headed hyung. “It’s too quiet.”

“Yes!”

The three followed Gikwang down the hall and saw that the door to their bathroom was wide open and the light was on. They got closer and found the beastly rapper of the group, standing in the center of the bathroom with his hands on his hips.

“He’s not here.” Junhyung turned to the others with a frown. “Hyunseung hyung isn’t in here.”

Doojoon sighed. “If he’s not in here sneaking a phone call with ETERNITY’s maknae, thinking that we don’t know, then that means he can only be at one place…”

The rest of the group scowled and growled under their breaths. “He’s at their dorm.”

“Hyunseunggie oppa!” Hyunjae jumped, wrapping her arms around the red haired boy. She pulled him into the warm comforts of her dorm and sat him down on the couch, where the rest of her unnies resided.

“Hyungseung oppa!” Aejung called out, waving to Yeongwon’s V.I.P member.

“Annyeong~ Sorry for the inconvenience. I know it’s late and you all need your rest.” He bowed to them, his tone apologetic.

“What nonsense are you spouting, chingu?” Hyorin stood up and smacked him on the back. “We’re happy to see you. It’s been a while.”

Hyunseung smiled. Oh how he loved these girls~

“I’ll go make you tea!” Saehyun cheered, skipping in the kitchen.

“Kamsahamnida~”

“Oppa~ Your red hair suits you.”

“You think so, Jae? I think it makes me look like a kid.”

Hyorin gave off a highly attractive snort. “When do you NOT look like a kid.”

Hyunjae giggled. “Unnie, be nice.”

“What??” Hyorin was offended. “It wasn’t an insult!”

“I think he looks like Ronald McDonald…you know, the mascot thing for that one fast food chain we’re not allowed to eat at.”

“Yah! AeJ! That’s not cool~~~” Hyunseung whined, his face now looking somewhat like this à >_<

Good gawd. Wae is that boy so cute?~

In a split second, three ringtones played throughout the living room. Aejung glanced at her members before looking down at her phone, an expected look gracing her face.

“It’s Gikwang.”

Hyorin sighed. “I don’t even have to pick up to know it’s Yoseob.”

“I have Junhyung oppa on the line.”

“Good. Chingu-ah~ You talk to me cause unnie and I ignored our calls.”

“Wae?~~ Now our time with Hyunseunggie is cut short,” the leader of ETERNITY whined.

“Okay, I’ll put him on speaker.”

“Saehyun-ah. He’s over there isn’t he?”

“Who are you talking about, oppa?”

“Yah! This is not the time for you to be acting cute! Is he there? This is not fair! Why does he always get to go to your dorm??”

“Aejung hung up on me!” Gikwang screeched in the back ground.

“Oh hell no! Noona did NOT just ignore my phone call!” Yoseob screamed.

The AeRin pair looked at each other and grimaced. They were not going to hear the end of this.

“Oppa, I’m sorry, but I’m afraid I don’t know where Hyunseung is. Maknae is getting annoyed at the noise you boys are making, so I’m handing up now. Bye!” Saehyun frantically ended the call and ran out into the living room with the cup of tea in her hands. “We need to get him out, quick!”

ETERNITY got up and scurried about. It was on. Time to bring out Yeongwon S.W.A.T.

Aejung strode over to her balcony and took her position to be on the lookout. “Okay ladies, they probably just realized that he was gone, so we have about five minutes before their car comes into sight. We need to get Hyunseung down the lobby and into a cab in three minutes.”

“I’ll call the cab!” Saehyun scurried over to her phone and pressed the speed dial for the cab that knew them oh-so well.

“Who are we dealing with?” Hyorin asked, her face extremely serious. She opened up the GPS tracking device on her phone and connected it DooJoon’s phone. That boy always had his internet on.

“They’re almost here. They’re approaching the corner. Hyunjae, you have to get Hyunseung out. Now!”

Hyunseung fumbled out the door with his shoes barely on. “I’m really sorry!” And then he was out the hall with Hyunjae dragging him along.

The four girl of ETERNITY put on their ear pieces and the communications began.

“Target in sight.” Aejung watched as the black SUV turned the corner, advancing toward their building.

“Maknae, the taxi will be parked at the back entrance.”

“Ani, tell them to park at the front. From the past experiences, the boys will be coming up from the back,” Hyorin stated, still looking intently at her phone.

Aejung laughed. “They turned into the back. Good job, leader.”

Hyorin let out an airy laugh. All seriousness gone. “I know~”

“Maknae, make sure you get there in the next minute.” Aejung walked back into her apartment and took her seat beside her yeobo, ready to act casual. Saehyun soon joined them and the waiting bega.

“Unnie, we’re trying…all we can!” Hyunjae said between breaths. Oh how she hated running. “Okay! We’re here!”

“Okay maknae, now you have to get back up here before they get here.” Hyorin turned off her phone and the T.V.

The three can hear Hyunjae groan as a “Bye oppa!” was quickly made. She successfully made it into her dorm, now gasping for air as she took her place on Saehyun’s lap.

“God.”

And then their doorbell rang.

Another success.
