Guys, I need your help D:

Our project in english is to make a short documentary about any topic. Any topic at all. 

Well, my initial reaction to this was: OHCAKE. 

But then the teacher just turns everything else stupid and so not reasonable and says: It's an individual project. 

LIKE SERIOUSLY? 

So then upon hearing that, I was like: NO SHIII. I AM SO GOING TO HAUNT YOUR MERCILESS SOUL. DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THAT THAT'S A FREAKING DOCUMENTARY! HAVE YOU GOT NO MIND THAT NOT ALL, IN FACT, ONLY A FEW OF US KNOWS HOW TO EDIT A VIDEO! AND HECK, NOT FREAKING ALL OF US HAS AN APPROPIATE CAMERA TO SHOOT A VIDEO?! WELL TOOT YOU. I HATE, HATE, HATE YOU FROM NOW ON. HMPH.

So I was just wondering, aside from kpop... because my friend already chose that topic.... what other topic do you think is nice? 

I was thinking about STRESS AND DICUSSING MOSTLY ABOUT THE SIMPLE JOYS OF A PERSON..... like popping a bubble wrap.. or whatever. 

But please help me D: could you guys suggest a topic and then state your simple joy? :D

I love sleepylips idea on the whole fandom concept! You could explain the concept of the whole 'fanatic domain' and discuss how a fandom can affect people's relationships when they share the same interest and then you could go on to explain the relationships between certain fandoms like how Boices and Primadonnas get on exceptionally well with each other!
Hmm my simple joy would be seeing other people smile because of something I've done to help?

well is your friend going to talk about kpop in general or will they choose a narrower topic?
I would suggest kpop too cuz there's so many elements in it.
unless you have other interests..
if she talks about kpop you could talk about fandoms. how kpop create fandoms and writing and stuff like that ;)
maybe you could talk about how internet and fandoms creates friends from around the world - thru same interests in music (kpop), books (harry potter). umm maybe my suggestion is a bit hard, and my lack of better english has probly something to do with it lol ^^

Actually I enjoy activities like that so I'll try to help you.haha
One of the most basic video editing software out there is windows movie maker (That's if your a windows user?), it's pretty simple and easy but can make your videos look good :)

Your initial chosen topic is okay already, showing how people de-stress using simple means.
Well I'm not sure if you'd want a serious or light topic but right now the topics that I can think of are: climate change, social networking sites (like the popularity or importance of that to people) , Food (fast food vs. home-cooked meas?), Fashion (Observing people and asking about comfort vs. style?), etc.
